I purchased this water bottle nearly four years ago, in 2019, when a trip to the recycling center ended badly for my prior water bottle (my arms were over-full, I tossed my water bottle into our recyling tub, then dumped the whole tub into the mixed recycling bin. Sigh). I drink a lot of water, and bring a water bottle with me EVERYWHERE, and had paid the last college tuition bill for my kids, so was willing to splurge on myself. This one fit the bill. I LOVE it. For years, (until operator error changed things) it didn't leak, the strap is as strong today as the day I bought it, it's easy to clean (though I always cleaned it by hand and never put it in the dishwasher), and the spout is really the perfect size. I drink about 2L of water most days, it bumps around in my car, at work, etc. Finally, after nearly four years of heavy use, I bumped it a bit while the lid was open, and the hinge got a bit loose. Six months later, I bumped it again, and it now leaks a bit. My fault, not the bottle's fault, and I am thrilled to see that four years later, the identical bottle is still available. I'll leave the old one at the office for those rare days that I forget one, and happily carry the new one around with me (and be more careful about bumping it while the lid is open). My only suggestion to the company would be to sell replacement lids only, just to minimize environmental impact for those of us whose bottles are still fully intact and usable. Even if it saved just a few dollars, for some of us (probably especially true for reusable water bottle users) it's more about minimizing waste than saving money. ... show more

Live my bottle. I had it for a year but then forgot it recently at the airport and had to get a new one. The spout is the perfect size and bottle fits in my car cup holder. I’ve dropped it many times and it’s not broken.Although I will say the only part that did break is the semi circle arch where the latch goes over it. A small piece chipped and did not affect the closure. I’d rather have the lid material be made from something else so it doesn’t easily break when the bottle is dropped. Perfect size to carry and not heavy. I like the measurement makings on the side. And no bad taste for my water. I have received compliments on it! I will say not 100% leakproof but pretty close. When it’s locked it usually doesn’t leak but sometimes I do forget to lock it, so that’s on me. This is my second purchase of the bottle. I never reviewed the first one. ... show more

The strap is extremely sturdy, the lid has a lock in case of accidental drops, and the mouthpiece is the perfect size for water flow. Seriously I have 2 new bottles just in storage because I don't want to have to change brands.
