The media could not be loaded. I am so excited to see this product on Amazon!! Ive been using this monomer for almost a year now, and its absolutely amazing. I'm one of the very lucky people who are in the Amazon Vine product testing program, where i have the unique opportunity to try amazon products for free. Ive been doing nails for years and let me tell you- through amazon vine I have tried every kind of monomer that's available on here. Many of the ones that claim to be low odor or no odor either don't work very well period, or they DO have some sort of unpleasant odor. This monomer right here from Purple Phoenix not only is TRULY low odor, but it also works perfectly with every single different brand of acrylic powder that ive ever used it with. Normal monomer has a very distinct, very very strong chemical smell that will stink up your entire house for HOURS even if you only use it for 10 minutes. THIS wonderful monomer right here does NOT have that strong, distinct , chemical smelling, horrible monomer stink to it. It does have a very light flowery scent to it, almost like potpourri or incense, but it is not strong, it is not overwhelming, and it is not unpleasant! Before discovering this product, I could not use acrylic powder in my house. I have 4 kids and my husbandt is the biggest kid of them all. He is super sensitive and crazy about smells- laundry soaps, dryer sheets, fabric softeners, perfumes, shampoos, body washes, candles, hair products, nail products, lotions, deodorants- if its "scented" he absolutely hates it , doesn't let it in our house, and claims to be allergic to it (huge eye roll). If I dare use anything in the house while he's gone at work all day he's like a darn bloodhound, he can absolutely smell a drop of monomer no matter what I use to mask the scent, no matter how much I air out the house, even if it's ten hours later, then I have to listen to him complain for a week that he has a headache and that he's losing braincells from the chemicals (he's low on brain cells alright, just not from some monomer or scented candle LOL) ! But with this product I can actually do nails in the house!!! Not only can I do them in the house, I can literally sit up in my kitchen or living room and do them because this monomer is NOT stinky or overwhelming or strong! This man will claim to this day that the smell of GEL POLISH gives him a headache, and I can only use gel polish down in the basement three floors down from him, but I can sit in the next room over and use this monomer to make acrylic nails, figure that one out LOL. My point is- I can FINALLY do acrylic nails inside my house thanks to this product, when that has NEVER been possible before with any other monomer. Not only is it low odor, it's great quality. It does come in 2 different versions, where the professional setting version is for people who are more experienced using acrylic because it has a faster setting time. The "normasl" standard setting formula is the one I use most often- it has a normal setting time of 45 seconds to 1 minute. I have used this monomer with every single brand of acrylic powder I own- from the big name brand companies, the mid level more affordable companies, the family run small businesses, down to the generic knockoff powders that you can get for $2 from temu, seeing, or wish- this monomer works great with all brands, all types of acrylic powders. The versatility and usability across all the different brands of powders, the low pleasant odor, and the great quality alone makes this product the best monomer I've ever used. But on top of all that it also has maximum adhesion somehow, where you literally do not even need to use primer on the nails. It's also a non yellowing formula, so your clear and light colored nails will NOT start turning yellow after only a few days like what happens with some of the poorer quality monomer. Its also an EMA formula, no dangerous MMA here! This product is perfect for beginners and pros alike- like me you will be hooked the very first time you try it. My only regret is that I didnt try this monomer sooner!
