I really lazy so rolling this in is great. There’s no white cast. Great for sensitive skin. Very high quality sunblock. The stick was harder than I thought it was going to be. The formula doesn’t glide as easy as I would like but I think that’s because of all the zinc oxide making it a stiff. I primarily use this for my face but it’s great for body use as well. It’s travel size and fits in your purse easily. I don’t know how well this would go on top of make up because the formula is so stiff. Overall really great and will buy again. ... show more

What I like most about the EltaMD UV Stick Sunscreen for Face and Body is the portability and ease of use of the sunscreen in a solid form. What I disliked was how the sunscreen left a sticky feeling on my skin. I'm very pale as I avoid the sun due to me having lupus so I don't tan much so I can't comment on leaving a white cast on my skin. The stick applicator makes applying the sunscreen easy and once applied works well to prevent sun exposure. I've used it on my face, neck and arms during a recent vacation and it worked well to protect me from sun exposure. I also loved how I could tuck the applicator in my purse as it fit nicely and didn't weigh a bunch. ... show more

Very comfortable to wear, been using this for a number of years, and was happy to discover that my dermatologist recommends it. It does not melt off your face, nor does it taste bad. I know that’s a weird thing to say, but it’s true.

This item most definitely has a white cast. Maybe it doesn’t make you look 10 shades too light, but it most definitely leaves a white thick residue on your face that’s very obvious. I’ve used other Elta MD spfs that I love but I wanted a stick for when I’m on-the-go. The whole point of one of these sticks is that I don’t want to rub it in with my hands when I’m out and about, like many other spf sticks I’ve used, but this one was so so so so so thick and left such a white cast that I can’t just put it on on-the-go with out rubbing it in. I feel like it’s not worth it to use this and I’ll just go back to the regular lighter spf I typically use or a whole other spf stick from another brand that doesn’t have the same issues. I feel I have to give this one star since I’m literally not even using it because it doesn’t do what it said it would do and is in a stick form, but feels like a regular kids/family product for a day at the beach when white casts don’t matter and not something that’s from a respected brand like Elta MD, that I believe is typically top-tier. ... show more

I’m not sure about this sunscreen yet. It has a white tint and that is bothersome. Also the product doesn’t go on very smoothly. I will use it because I feel it does work as a sunscreen but I’ll try something different next time.
