I am lucky that I was not expecting these curtains to be velvet, because they are very thin and I would not consider the material to be a thin velour fabric. But they are semi sheer and I love the way the ties on top look! Very pretty, just not thick or actually velvet.

My daughter LOVES these, and I must say they are very pretty crushed velvet drapes. The crushed velvet produces a wrinkled look, which I like. They are NOT blackout, and they do let light through, so if blackout curtains are what you are looking for, these are not for you. We put up blackout blinds, so that was not an issue for us. Love these curtains. They were inexpensive and true to coloring in pictures(unlike previous curtains I ordered and was forced to return). The best part is they are crushed velvet, so I could hang them without ironing! 10/10 would order them again.
