  • Jump all day: ZERO bounce!
Size: 38G Color: Rosewood
I am a size 16, US cup size 38G. This is the only bra I wear for exercise! I have ordered this several times in several colors. I spend a large part of my day jumping and skipping and jogging around with children during my job (I'm a music teacher with an emphasis on dance and creative movement) and this the is ONLY bra I have ever trusted to keep my large, heavy girls contained and modest. It's also comfortable enough I can wear it for 12-16 hours without any issues. I wasn't sure at first because it looks odd compared to a traditional underwire, but it's because it's a high impact sports bra. It is full coverage. It also lifts and smooshes everything close to the body. Because of this, it has a minimizing effect, which means I can wear all kinds of clothes over it as long as it's not too low cut. The fabric is pretty stiff, but that is Intentional. I mean, it's a high impact sports bra... You don't want it to be stretchy and bouncy. I can go running in this bra! If I tried this in previous bras I'd give myself a black eye... Its not super sexy, but it definitely works! I hope it doesn't ever change and will continue to order several more! ... show more

  • Great quality, difficult sizing for US customers.
Size: 44E Color: Black
These bras are legit. It did take me 3 orders to find the correct size, but once I did, I was completely converted. I honestly wear them daily, not just for working out, as the lift and separation is THAT good. I’m a plus size girlie who normally wears between a 40DDD to a 42G, depending on the brand. I ended up with a 44DDD, so definitely don’t be afraid to try a few sizes and use their measurement chart. That said, these are 100% worth the high cost. The underwire doesn’t dig. The cups are full coverage. They are NOT stretchy, even the band, so keep that in mind. Overall, I love them. ... show more

  • Great bra. A few tweaks are needed.
Size: 36G Color: Navy
This is a really well-constructed bra. I've used them off and on over the years. PROS 1. The support is fantastic. I could get shot out of a cannon and the girls wouldn't move. I do a lot of race walking and weightlifting/strength training and I feel really supported during those exercises. 2. The material and quality and really top notch and durable. 3. I love the convertible straps! Elomi really tries to take care of their BBBC (Big Bodacious Breasts Club) members by giving them options to feel supported and pretty at the same time. CONS 1. The hooks on the back and the seams on the end of the bra where the hooks and eyes are can scratch the skin. A few years ago, I race-walked a half marathon wearing one of these and by the time I was done, all the skin on my back where the hook and eye are supposed to lie flat was completely torn off and bleeding. The center of my back was an open wound for days afterwards. I purchased another sports bra brand to try something different after that and recently came back to Elomi because the support can't be beat. Both of the new bras I purchased - same make/model as the one a few years ago, have the same issue of rubbing the skin off in that same spot. For longer usage times, I'm going to try placing something soft like moleskin on there to help. 2. If missile-tits are your thing, then you're covered. Otherwise it's not all that flattering on. 3. The underwire can be uncomfortable after wearing for a long time. Basically anything over an hour and a half can start to cause issues. Despite some of the issues, I'm going to keep purchasing this brand/model. It really is a great bra, it just needs a few tweaks to make it perfect. ... show more

  • I keep buying these multiple times
Size: 40J Color: Nude
I have gotten these bras for a few years now and have just ordered 2 more since they were on sale for Cyber Monday. I wear 40J (really 42 HH but they don't make that, I have purchased some band extenders), and at that size, there is no such thing as a bra that's comfortable for running, but this one is the least bad. By contrast, my Sachi Cage Bra from the same brand (i.e. my one "nice looking" bra) makes me worry I'll be arrested for indecency if I run to catch the bus. The Energise means that running is still uncomfortable but not...that. The silhouette with this bra is slightly pointy, and a bit flatter than other bras--not a lot, but enough that it could make the difference for a button-down shirt that just barely fits. With soft/drapey fabrics (such as a polo shirt), there is a noticeable bra seam. In fit, it is best for close-set breasts. I have had few problems with the straps slipping off my shoulders. The AI wants me to talk about stretchiness--the band is elastic, the straps slightly less so, the cups not at all. The band does stretch with time; after maybe 2-3 months' wear, it stretches from a 40 to a more comfortable 42. However, I don't think it would stretch this much if your cup size allows you to get a band that's the right size. The cups are unlined (no one who can wear this bra needs more padding). The neckline is relatively high, so you may want to purchase a separate bra (such as a balconette) if you wear any low-cut shirts or blouses. (Elomi has a wide range of bras, their balconettes were my previous favorite before I discovered the Energise.) Quality: The quality is about what you'd expect from this price point and size. Underwires tend to break after about a year of regular wear (regular defined as "about every other day"). This is likely because the underwires are formed as a flat U instead of a bent U that follows the contours of the body (likely this is done to reduce costs of materials, manufacturing, and shipping--however, I would pay up to 25% more for a bra that lasted longer before critically failing). Still, I think this is the best we're going to get without paying twice as much and custom-manufacturing bras in Poland. It would also be nice if the company ever offered removable liners (like socks for your boobs) to protect the bras from dirt. In summary: I have worn out several of these and just bought 2 more. I think they're the best option available for a practical everyday bra at the sub-$100 price point. The only way they could be better is if they improved the underwire durability and offered a 42HH size. ... show more

  • Material is 👍, fit is👎
Size: 32GG Color: Navy Geo
32GG Elomi Energise Sports Bra B4 I explain, I'd like to start out with the fact that I'm actually a 33 band, but 34's end up too big so I just order 32s. Also I have breast assemetry with the left boob being bigger. The first time I tried this bra on, I had noticeable (not majorly terrible) quadding and bad bounce once I jumped--sure, I could tell it was less than if I didn't have this bra on, but it was still bounce. I resigned to return it but today I tried it again, thinking I was missing something from all those rave reviews. Well, I still faced the exact same issue, even when I adjusted the straps all the way to the front. The racerback feature did not help either. B4 I bought this, I asked if I should go up a cup and band in the questions, and someone replied that I should go up 2 cup sizes. Maybe the bra would've worked for me had I followed those instructions. Either way, I'm returning this Elomi Energise. Also--forgive me for the clunky explanation, but this bra has kind of a cone-ish shape to the actual boob part. I ordered the Navy Geo, and lemme tell you that the solid blue part squished the roundest part of my boobs down. Like they meant for all the tissue to be encapsulated by the white inside (underwire made tissue lift up a bit), and the solid blue was meant to smooth but it just doesn't work and created the quadboob. On my 2nd try of this bra I pushed my breast tissue down into the little above-wire gap, and the quadboob only lessened a bit. Thus resulting in the cone-like protrusion of the inside white/outside design part. Not good. +1 for making the seams inside the bra a soft fabric that didn't irritate. The laundry tag is annoying though. This bra shouldn't be advertised as "true to size". ... show more

  • Comfortable, contains moving parts in high impact but underwire flexible enough to lay down/yoga.
Size: 32H Color: Black
Sizes : 34k and 32k US size At my size it is super hard to find a good bra. After going to a lingerie store and getting fitted, I tried on this bra and bought it. This one is my second purchase because I went down a band size after weight loss but still have the same cup size. I also still use both bras because even the larger band bra is comfortable to use as a house/day bra. First thing I noticed about this bra is it is possible to lay down, roll over on all sides with it on and not be stabbed with underwire while feeling very secure and contained. It holds the breasts close to the body, lifts and separates them. The center underwires do not stab or chafe. It doesn't poke or chafe with movement and the underwire does not stab my upper abdomen or sides when I relax or exercise. It literally feels cool inside when you wear it. It feels super contained and secure and helps prevent shock pain from exercise when you have heavy breasts. The straps are wide enough to support but do not dig in, chafe or cause any pain with heavy breasts. This is my second purchase of this bra and it is the only sports bra I ever felt comfortable in. I went down a couple of sizes on the band after losing some weight but I still use the larger one for yoga type exercise if I want the support with less constriction. Only important note is to wash it regularly especially after each work out because it locks in moisture. I use Forever New delicate fabric wash. 5 stars! ... show more

  • Almost a 4
Size: 42G Color: Navy Geo
Good fit and comfortable, but starchy. It def doesn't have the typical fabric of a sports bra. The only reason I'm returning this is because the fabric doesn't breathe. After 15 minutes my boobs are actually hot, not in sexy way :(. The fabric is not super thick but there is no flex & a bit stiff, and if you're exercising and perspiring, your boobs may overheat 😆. Protect your tatas from the heat, and just say no to this style. If you're looking for a sturdy winter bra, this is for you. Also, if you need straps that will allow your breasts to hang to your navel, this has xxxxxl long straps. ... show more

  • Excellent bra for large breast!
Size: 36HH Color: Black
In case you don’t read my long review – great bra; works perfect. I finally have a proper sports bra. If you have large breast this is the bra for you. And yes, the other reviews are correct in that you may wear this as a regular bra. However, my review is based on it being categorized as a sports bra. My typical issues with bras come from the fact that I am relatively smaller around but with extremely large cups - 34HH. So, see detailed review below from that perspective. Comfort A+ I bought both sizes, 34HH and 36HH just in case – based on sizing recommendations. Both were extremely comfortable. As anyone with large breasts can attest to, underwire bras can feel like the enemy at times. Lots of digging and sticking and scratching. And, even if it fits perfectly the first time, after a few days of daily wear is starts to become uncomfortable. Not this bra. After about a month it has retained is comfort. The material is smooth reducing itching and lacks that side underwire (while retaining support) which typically digs me. Fitness A I workout daily. So, once I realized this would stand up to my workouts, I had to go out and buy a few more. One or two won't be enough if you are working out more than 3 times a week. I have worn it for running (5k max), Zumba, strength training and yoga. During yoga was the only time I found myself constantly adjusting - and this was due to some of the poses we went into. I was pleased to see how well it held up. I was comfortable, with lots of support - no bouncing all over the place. I have been used to sports bras for larger breast that give you one giant uniboob, where everything is sucked completely in and does not move. Somehow, we have defined this as support and this bra dispels that. The bra separates the breasts and has some give so you can breathe but still provides support so your breast isn’t bouncing around and hurting. The tag would move in Zumba and end up showing but that was about it. The smaller (true to fit) size worked better for workouts. See below regarding racer back. Cups A+ The cups were perfect. Like many of you, one of my girls is bigger than the other and in my case, significantly bigger. As a result, the smaller one had a small gap in the front which made that breast look more pointy than the other. Which is why I think if your breasts are looking pointy, I would suggest going a cup size down and filling out the cup. The material is very sturdy and strong so it will only change shapes if your breasts are full enough to change the shape and give it a curved look. Otherwise, it will just be the shape of the bra. A few years back I went to bra fitting specialty store and I learned the art of “filling” the bra cup and doing this properly really does make a difference in the shape of your breast – particularly with large breasts that are natural. Note: this is technically a sports bra so the coverage is more than full coverage – if you can imagine. So you will not be able to wear any lower cut or v-neck shirts as it comes pretty high up. No cleavage what-so-ever so keep in mind if you opt to use this for everyday wear. In some of my summer dresses it does come higher than the dress’s neckline. Straps/Racer back B The straps are board, strong and soft. Lots of support without digging and scaring. If you chose not to hand wash, you may inhibit its ability to not loosen during running so throw in the washer at your own risk. Many of us looked to this bra because of its ability to convert to a racer back. Because, for whatever reason most fitness tops are racer back. This bra does work and retains its comfort in racer back but there are a few drawbacks which is the only reason I removed a star (Note; if this were not categorized as a sports bra I would not have removed a star for the racer back feature). The first is you will need to adjust (lengthen) the straps so you have enough to properly make it a racer back. Doing so prevents the back strap that goes across your back from rising up and weakening support. This means you can’t just throw it on then hook or unhook as you need. You’ll need to decide how you’ll be wearing it and adjust with each wear. Second, you will need to lower the clips/hooks 1) so it is hidden behind most racer back tops which aren’t as high and 2) to keep your posture and support. Once you do those two things, you can successfully wear this is a racer back, be comfortable and retain support. However – you may need a second set of hands to do this successfully the first few times which is a bit inconvenient. Overall, this is the best option I have seen/tried for large breasts. I can’t stress enough that compared to others I have tried, this option is fantastic! ... show more
