    • Best wood glue I've ever used
Size: 16 Oz Style: Wood Glue Max
This Elmer's wood glue is the only wood to wood glue that I've been using for the past 20-years. This product holds well, dries quickly and lasts for years as long as the cap is closed tight after each use. It also washes off your hands with just a little soap and water. I just finished up using a bottle that must be at least 10-years old and the last drop worked as well as the first! ... show more

    • Bad to Good
Size: 16 Oz Style: Wood Glue Max
Received this glue. It was so thick I couldn't squeeze it out of the screw-on nozzle. Contacted Amazon. Representative sent a new bottle at no cost. 2nd bottle is great - like it should be. Great customer service.

    • Adheres great, but hard to get out of the bottle.
Size: 16 Oz Style: Wood Glue Max
This glue does almost everything it says (though I wouldn't exactly call it "stainable"--it accepts maybe 30-60% of the color that the wood accepts). An issue I ran into is that this wood glue "max" has something like wood fibers in it, perhaps so it'll accept stain, which makes it gritty and difficult to squeeze out of the bottle. The regular, non-max Elmer's wood glue comes out much more easily. Once this one is out of the bottle, though, it's more of a paste that stays where you put it slightly better than the non-max glue, which tends to drip more. ... show more

    • Tried and true - can't beat it
Size: 16 Oz Style: Wood Glue Max
Good ol' Elmer's. I tried Titebond as Menards did not carry Elmer's and I am not a fan of that runny liquid. Since I cannot easily find another way to leave feedback for Amazon, they will get a red ass publicly for doing something stupid: SOME WELL-MEANING IDIOT TAPED THE CAP ON USING A STICKER - TYPE TAPE THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO REMOVE CLEANLY. IT'S LIKE PRICE TAG TAPE THAT PULLS HALF THE PAPER OFF AN LEAVES AN OPAQUE LAYER OF PAPER/ADHESIVE ON THE PRODUCT. PROBLEM IS, THE DUMB FLICK PUT IT ALL OVER THE INSTRUCTIONS SO THOSE RIPPED OFF TOO. Elmer's web site sucks for instructions and has no photos of the labels. Fortunately Amazon did provide that, so I will not return the product. Yeah, you don't really need instructions for Elmer's glue, but I wasn't sure about the temperature. ... show more

    • Good stuff
Size: 16 Oz Style: Wood Glue Max
Was much thicker than I've experienced in the past. I bought 2 bottles, good thing one cap was defective. Finished off the first bottle and switched the good cap to the second bottle.

    • Tip is a PITA to clean out if gunged up
Size: 16 Oz Style: Wood Glue Max
That's really my only complaint, because the tip has an applicator with a splitter in the center of it, if the glue residue inside gets gunged up (like mine originally did) it can be a pain to clean out. (you basically have to figure out how to scrape it out)
