This sink arrived in a zillion broken pieces. Its impossible for me to say how it was handled in the shipping but i suspect it was dropped or something. The return went fine but it seemed to me like the ceramic of this sink wasn't solid but was like a two ply with space inbetween the layers so maybe it wouldn't be that durable even in a normal kitchen where one might drop a pot or something into it. I think it would crack. I returned it and got a stainless steel apron front single bowl Kraus sink and that one has been fantastic. I originally bought this Ellai sink because it was cheaper but perhaps it is a little too cheap in construction. Maybe it would be better to pay a little more and get a farmhouse style with a cast iron insides or something. ... show more

Purchased for the remodel of my kitchen and when it was delivered it was cracked in three places. My contractor had to go to Lowe’s to purchase another sink that was $150 more than this one. Very disappointed
