But as for being sheer, well, they are not "sheers" as you would normally think. They are much higher quality, with a thicker material with velvet and Jacquard! Just gorgeous! I struggled trying to decide if I wanted to keep them anyway, but they really aren't what I needed for this particular room. I reluctantly returned them, but I know if I ever came across another situation where I could order these and get full use out of them again I would in a heartbeat.
