For the price, I don’t know if any other screen can beat it. Additionally, its made by Elite Screens who are known for their quality products. I ordered this one and another one made by a Chinese manufacturer, which was a motorized screen for a few more dollars but decided to keep this one as the quality is very good. The housing has a clean look and it matte painted vs a shiny white cheap looking housing on the Chinese made one. The screen itself is very good, not a single wrinkle anywhere. I spent $550 on a projector a couple years ago and tried using it on a blank wall. It was fine. But finally decicded to “splurge” on a proper screen, an bought this. Something to note: because it isn’t a tension screen, it slightly bows at the edges, so I can’t get the full 100in experience, but 98in is a pretty nice jump from 50in tv. So for about $650 for 100in movie night experience I’m a fan. Total investment: $550 1080p projector $95 projector $150 5.1 surround sound bar $100 in cables and hardware $900 for a in home theater setup without dealing with movie ticket prices or annoying movie goers. ... show more

This is the first screen I purchased after using just a wall to project on and the difference is night and day. The Screen reflects light really well allowing me to use it even during the day. I was going nuts looking at every projector screen on Amazon and other sites (for several months), and kept working my way up to $500-$1000 automatic screens. I finally took a step back, and thought about what I really needed / wanted. MY NEEDS: - Simple, idiot proof operation, for myself and guests - No hunting around for remotes - Lightweight for easy 1 person installation - Black Background for light blocking from background devices - High Reflection Rate (but not too bright) - 100 inch overall diagonal size - Something good enough for my 1080p / 3D projector - Attractive enough for my unfinished basement / rec. room - Nothing so expensive that I will get upset when my rowdy nephews break it - A good upgrade from a stretch fabric screen (that my nephews already got pool table chalk on) UNFOUNDED CONCERNS FROM OTHER REVIEWS: - Well packaged, no dents in boxes or case - No Strong Odor - No Wrinkle in the Screen SETUP: In my case, my basement is unfinished so I wanted the screen mostly tucked out of the way into rafters/ceiling joists. My ceiling is also on the lower side, so it was easy to hang / install myself. I ended getting some adjusting projector hanging brackets ($14) to make it a little easier to level. I also needed to mount the screen between the joists so I needed the brackets to move the project away from the wall. I have a 65” TV for everyday TV and Gaming. I needed the screen far enough out so that I could pull it down in front of the TV when I want a more immersive experience. TIPS: Maybe it goes without saying, but I was very careful to make sure the screen was as level as I could get it, and perfectly square with my projector and the wall behind. This way it stays in focus across the entire screen. I also had to move my projector to make sure it was centered on the screen. IMPRESSIONS (so far): I LOVE IT. MY WIFE LOVES IT. MY SON LOVES IT. We have already elevated our family movie nights, and I’m loving watching NFL Playoff games on a 100 inch screen while I write this review. It has met or exceeded my expectations on every level. I could not be happier with this purchase. RECOMMENDATION: Skip all the bells and whistles of other screens, get something that works right every time. I would recommend to purchase all black. The white colored will show the black edge on screen. The delivery took more than two weeks and arrived with no screws. I had to run to hardware store to get screws. This stuff is still very heavy. Make sure to get bigger screws too.

The screen works as advertised—it's bright, the black border improves contrast and it rolls up slowly when you're all done. The screen I received has some dull spots in the bottom right corner but it hasn't affected the viewing experience in any way. There is a slight skew to the roll when I put it away so it's tough to get the pull-bar to nestle neatly in the fuselage as designed, but it's a minor inconvenience. ... show more
