Interior metal access door can be installed in the ceiling or wall. These metal access door will pass any government inspection requiring a USA made product to be installed.
  • Design 7/16 door return lip edge. Metal access door has machine door catches on the top and bottom to prevent door from pushing in. Recessed to keep flush with drywall or ceiling to maintain beautiful aesthetics for any building.
  • Durability Access door for drywall has rust resistant galvannealed steel to keep your interior access door from rusting and deterioration. Drywall door panel has large accurate cam slots to keep cams sturdy in place and to prevent metal access doors from sagging.
  • Functionality -- Access door for drywall is equipped with strong 14 gauge 304 stainless steel cam latches with large screwdriver slot for easy opening. Two stainless steel pin hinges at the top and bottom to allow opening to 165 degrees for a wider open work area.

Very nice attic door. Perfect sizes and well made. The door is sturdy and easy to mount. When you mount it on the ceiling you have enough metal beyond your 5/8 drywall so I could screw them directly on the trusses. I am happy about this purchase.

Quality product that I had a hard time installing. Not at all the products fault, it was mine for picking a spot with a small hidden support (that I could’ve caught with the stud finder if I spent 5 more minutes outlining the hole before cutting). Spent an extra 30 minutes moving that scabbed support, but overall very happy with the product, would buy again. ... show more

It clearly says in the description that there are stainless steel cam locks on these access doors. Guess what, that's only on the 12 x 12 and larger according to the seller...!!! WHO KNEW??? Would have been nice to know this BEFORE purchasing. They're installed (at a discount) and cannot be returned or they'd be back on their shelf. Are some people just that lazy they cannot even give an accurate item description to sell their products anymore??? They must omit details for sales??? Saddening... ... show more
