    • A real upgrade!
Happy to say that this is really a gen 2 improvement over the first one. Loved the first one, the hearing protection worked well and I replaced the earbuds I used it so much. The buttons on this version are much more responsive but the connectivity range is slightly less. I work in a fabrication shop, metal and pipes everywhere so I really notice it when I step away from my phone. Though, it hangs on to the connection a little longer letting things resume when I'm back in range. So it drops connections less than the old one too. The ergonomic quality of the strap fit well and I don't notice it after hours of use, so I'm happy to continue using it after work too. Wonderfully long battery life letting me use it for two days before a recharge and the USB C port means I have greater compatibility with random chargers. As far as the microphone, it's a phone mic, it's basically the same. The quality is higher because it is newer as my old one was aging out. No one complains anymore! ... show more

Great hearing protection! At our weld shop we run alot of air arcing and it significantly reduced the noise. Only rated a 4 because the sound quality could be better.

I just use these on a motorcycle trip and they are much better than the previous version. They have very good sound quality. We’ll see how they hold up. The previous version broke quite often. This version even has a better door for the connector to charge. I think I may get my moneys worth out of them. They are much better quality than the previous version. I used the prior version of these earphones for about two years. I tried others, but the Rumbles were superior. I had a few minor complaints about them though: they used a USB-Micro plug for charging; and the dust cover for the charging port eventually broke off. I was pleased to see these upgraded versions addressed both of those complaints: the charging port is now the more common USB-C; and the port dust cover has also been redesigned. They work great! The sound protection buds keep machine noise out like regular ear protection while allowing calls to be heard clearly in noisy environments. They're sturdy and have a nice length of wire to the ear pieces. They are a great buy!!!!

Woefully unimpressed with the active noise canceling. People complain that it’s quite difficult to hear me when I’m speaking on the phone.
