  • It’ll hold a tourniquet
Very sturdy I like that I was able to size it for my belt so it’s not flopping around.

  • Good holder, but be sure to buy the shirt protector attachment!!
As a law enforcement officer, finding a way to carry a tourniquet (TQ) that is easily accessible and just as easy to deploy is crucial. This tourniquet holder is very sturdy and looks nice on my duty belt in the basket weave finish with black logo. However, I would NOT recommend wearing this TQ holder without the optional shirt protector add-on piece. I initially bought this holder without the shirt protector and as you can see by my pictures, the Velcro on the TQ itself completely ruined one of my duty shirts and caused all kinds of pilling of the fabric in the area of where the TQ is located. This is certainly not the cheapest holder on the market and to make the shirt protector an additional $10 purchase on top of it for a small piece of plastic is a little disheartening. As other reviewers have alluded to, this holder may not work on all duty belts, depending on how thick your belt is. I wear a 2.25" wide Bianchi duty belt with Velcro backing. Luckily, my belt has a little bit of "give" to it and is slightly compressible on its edges. Installation of this holder took some force and effort to get it to clip onto this belt, but once it is on you don't have to worry about it moving! It will stay put! It also features little adjustment "grooves" on the back of the belt clip for different sized belts (just make sure you remove the spacer in the grooves if installing on a full 2.25" belt, other wise it will be impossible to clamp shut). Getting the gen 7 CAT TQ into the holder itself proved to be another challenge. There is almost no extra room in this holder and it took me numerous tries to get my TQ folded in just the right way to be able to get it to fit in the holder; even then, it took a little bit of force to get it wedged in there. While I am glad I won't have to worry about the TQ falling out, it does make me a little apprehensive on how easy it will be to remove it in "the heat of the battle" under pressure. For those new to law enforcement or those looking to carry a TQ for the first time, I would recommend this holder as long as you buy the shirt protector with it. In this day and age, we cannot afford to be on duty without at least 1 TQ with us at all times. Just as important is to carefully consider where you want to carry your TQ so it is easy to deploy. Often times officers tend to install them on the "back" side of their belts off to one side. While some prefer this, such placement could potentially be detrimental if your arm/hand on that side becomes injured and is unable to grasp or remove the TQ - especially if you cannot reach it from across or behind your body with your other hand. For this reason, I like to carry my TQ on the FRONT of my belt so it is easy to reach and deploy with either hand. It also makes it visible for any of my fellow officers in case they need to deploy it for me. ... show more

  • Good quality, too tight of a fit
The quality is great. There is no way to fit the tourniquet in the holster where it can be easily removed if needed. A looser fit would be ideal.

  • Legit.
I bought one a month or so back and put it on my drop leg shroud ( it was annoying and strenuous process btw ) not easy. But these are built pretty well . This is obviously way too over priced and thats why i put 4 and not 5 stars but keep in mind literally Every other TQ holder from amazon has easily broken on me besides this one. Just unscrew and put lock tight and re screw and its all good. I am buying another one rite now for a different duty belt set up. 👍🏻. ... show more

  • Looks great
I like this TQ holder it’s sturdy and clean. My only complaint, and this is nit picking, is that it’s kind of hard to stuff the TQ inside staged. I’m not sure if it’s the way I have it staged but because it fits so tight I find that it may be difficult to retrieve it in moments notice. Also could be my TQ not the holder. • Only gear I trust
The product is sturdy and made of a very hard plastic. Has done well withstanding bumping into walls, vehicles, etc. the back plate (which connects to any standard Sam brown belt) and be rotated so that you can wear the tourniquet vertical, horizontal, and I believed slanted to the side.

  • My experience
First off, this is a very well made and sturdy case. However the picture is a little misleading. I bought this under the assumption I was getting BOTH the case and the tourniquet, when in fact it’s just the case. On that note, $45 for the case is a little pricey but honestly I think it’s worth the money. It’s not cheap material at all and seems to be something that would last a long time. With this product, you’re definitely getting your money’s worth. Secondly, I tried fitting this on my belt and at first it didn’t. There’s little adaptable bars you have to remove which will fit to your belt perfectly. Just thought I would give my input and I hope this helps!! *Update as of Jan. 2019 - No issues to date. This will be a lasting product. If problems arise, I will update. ... show more

  • Life saving purchase
So, most people will buy a TQ for the “just in case” sense of comfort. As a first responder, this was my initial feeling as well. With that said, when one of my coworkers was stabbed in the leg and had an extensive amount of bleeding, I could not have been happier that I carried this with me. I was first on scene and was able to render aid immediately. This product worked flawlessly as it should have. The only way to make it better would be free replacements with use, but I don’t mind paying the fee! Definitely recommend. ... show more
