Customer service was amazing. My first unit had a defective power supply and would not power on. They had a replacement at my door within 48hrs! When you stand behind your product that we'll, you will have my continued support. I was up and printing within an hour and first completed print 5 hrs later. It was successful and looks awesome. Washed and cured with their Mercury X bundle made it all very easy. Used Elegoo standard polymer resin with great results. Can't help but feel I instantly obsoleted my Creality CR10-S. As an HO scale model railroader, the possibities seem limtless. Wow, just Wow! Zero issues leveling, zero issues printing and it is very quiet. Screen interface was easy as was moving thru the menus. One note that hopefully you can learn from my mistake-make sure you tighten the two screws for the plate significantly after leveling. I did not tighten one enough and it moved on me while printing. This thing prints easily right out of the box. Elegoo customer service is top of the line so rest assured if there are any issues they will help you. The Wi-Fi is pretty good at the moment I was able to send files with their slicer and chitubox with only one file having an issue on 6 prints so far. The build plate is nice and so is the fep film. This is the first printer I'm not going to get a flex plate for. Can't recommend this enough for anyone wanting to print bigger high quality prints! ... show more

    • Amazing perfect prints with Elegoo resin
When you first get the machine, use Elegoo resin. I almost sent this back because I started with Anycubic basic grey resin and had nothing but failed prints. Most got to be 1/8th to 1/4 inch high before falling off the build plate. All my problems went away when I switched to Elegoo resin. The water washable resin from Elegoo works at least as good as their regular resin. I have not tried resins from other manufacturers since my experience with the grey Anycubic, but suspect they would work fine after some tests to get the right exposure settings for them. The quality of finish on the parts coming from this machine is incredible. You cannot tell they are 3-D printed. Most FDM printers leave very obvious layer lines but the lines from this machine are too small to see in most cases. I also found that it was easy to fix parts made with this. I accidentally cracked a flute I had printed out of beautiful clear-blue resin. I put some uncured resin on a q-tip and soaked it into the crack, then wiped away the excess and put it back in the curing station. I cannot find where the repair was done, it is perfect! If you had been holding off waiting for a mid-sized machine to arrive at an affordable price, don't hesitate. This is an excellent machine. I also got the wash and cure stations and the flexible build plate that attaches with a magnet. You definitely want the flex plate if you buy this machine. ... show more

This is my 2nd resin printer, and I never thought this level of detail would be possible. You must do your research and be patient. If you rush to the first thing you’re excited about, it will likely fail. Take the time to get this dialed in, and you will have the most beautiful prints in the world! I highly recommend the “J3D Tech Guide to Resin 3D Printing” (free on the internet). It is lengthy and involved, but if you follow it, you will not be disappointed. ... show more

My printer will constantly forget z Height and start ramming the build plate into the LCD when you tell it to print something. Its extremely disappointing that this printer I was sent at least passed quality control. So far my experience is. I'll print several rounds of very high quality miniatures. Then randomly it just starts ramming the build plate into the LCD when I ask it to print the next thing. Whatever it may happen to be. Super easy to use... when its working. ... show more

    • Excellent upgrade to mid-sized printer
I recently crushed my Mars 3 printer. Went to this as an upgrade. I have had zero failed prints so far (yes, I know they will happen eventually). This printer is amazing. I do suggest getting a short USB extension cable as the USB port is located on the side of the machine, which can make it awkward to reach depending on your setup. Unboxing and set up went very easily, leveling is the same as on any other Elegoo machine. I like that they have the leveling instructions on a card that you're supposed to use for the leveling process. Overall, I am VERY happy with this purchase. (I had thought that it came with a year subscription to Chitubox, but it does not). ... show more

The media could not be loaded. FOLLOW UP: DeepleeDirect reached out to me and offered a full refund for the printer! That was way above and beyond of them. I said a working print plate would suffice and 3 days later it was at my doorstep. DeepleeDirect really did well in taking care of a defective print plate when Elegoo still hasn't responded. I started testing the printer with the print plate and it works flawlessly! THANK YOU DEEPLEEDIRECT! I bought this to replace my Saturn which killed itself with a pucker turned leak onto the lighting. Upon assembling this, I found that the print plate mounting hole is so large even when completely locked down it allows the print plate to rotate laterally 1/4 inch in each direction. This defect makes the printer completely useless. I contacted Amazon and they were very helpful, setting me up with all of my purchase info and the contact information to Elegoo. Here we are almost a week later and Elegoo still has not responded. Zero tech support for an obviously incorrect or defective part. I won't be purchasing from Elegoo again. ... show more
