This is my favorite type of comforter. SO cozy and soft! I got this one in the color ivory. It just makes it appear more expensive than it is. Lmao I bought this one because it was within my price range. I absolutely love it. It's very soft and plush. My only complaint is that the sherpa side is meh. I previously had one I bought in a store for half price that was soft AF. So it could definitely be softer. But it's not bad enough to take a star off because it's a beautiful and comfy comforter and I'm just a picky lil brat. lol *Edited: We've had this now for 8 months and it's still very soft and cozy. My husband recently found a sherpa-lined comforter in a catalog he looked through and was adamant about buying one. I wasn't fond of the available colors, so found this one on Amazon. Although the colors still didn't thrill me, we chose the gray and I tried to lighten it up a bit on our bed. But it's the softness and the feel that will you absolutely adore from this comforter. Seriously, BOTH sides are super soft. Between our fleece sheets, padded mattress topper, and this sherpa-lined comforter, we are so incredibly comfy, it's insane. And it is warm, but not outrageously so. It's lighter than I thought it would be, and for a woman in her 50s (ahem), it still feels great to me. My only criticism is that it's a bit smaller than the king-sized comforters we usually have, but no worries. I highly recommend this!! ... show more

I am a very picky consumer. I read reviews & focus on both the positive & the negative feedback a product receives. I like to give credible feedback if I review a product to help other make the best educated decision. If you are searching for a good comforter set this may be what you are looking for. Personally this is my favorite bed set. It was definitely worth the money. The surface is slick and glossy like satin. The material is so soft, it makes you want to stay on the top just rubbing your skin on the smooth surface. The underside reminds you of a wooly rug. It looks strange but it adds extra layers which makes it heavy and dense. It will definitely keep you warm. Be aware this wool like undercoat will leave lint (just like a rug) on many fabrics. My set was black which also seems to be a lint magnet. However because of the high quality fibers the surface is easily cleaned. You can easily sweep the lint off the blanket with your hand. I have not washed it yet, so I can't say how it will hold up after a washing My only real issue would be it only offers 2 pillow shams, & it does not sell additional shams.. Who only has 2 pillows on a king sized bed? Besides that I would highly recommend this set. You get what you pay for and it’s worth it. ... show more

Doesn’t fit my king size bed. Has no over hang. Not worth the 50 some dollars I paid for it. I bought this blanket for my husband and myself for our Queen size bed. It fits perfectly. I ordered a King size so that we would have an extra room. I can't tell you enough how darn soft this blanket is. It's perfect to sleep with and does not make you extremely hot. I am very impressed by the quality of this blanket. Even after washing it a few times it is still super soft! I have a few other blankets that are similar and word of advice DO NOT put them in the dryer, hang them to dry if you want them to be as soft as they were when you purchased them. The media could not be loaded. I was worried after all the research I did in findin the perfect comforter. It’s hard to know which will be worth it and which is a Gimic. There are always so many negatives reviews and then you don’t know if you can trust the positive reviews on products. I’m here to say, this comforter was the best choice I have made yet! I absolutely love this comforter. It is so incredibly warm. My room is gray and white so this was simple and warm- exactly what I was looking for, and in a very reasonable price range. My bed is a full and it hangs off the bed a couple of inches. It's not long, but I like that about it.
