I really like this! I'm always leery when ordering red items as the color is usually not what I expected. This is kind of the same but in a good way as it's a bit darker than advertised so it's a very nice shade of red. This is a great product. The people complaining about the product being thin and like a sheet probably don’t know that this is a duvet cover and you need a duvet insert to basically turn it into a blanket. It’s great and super soft like advertised. I hope the quality keeps up well with daily use.

The media could not be loaded. This comforter arrived in an open package as the zipper was broken subjecting the comforter to dirt, dust and germs, Im sure this damage to the package was the fault of the Amazon driver. When I took it out of the package I thought I received the wrong item because it looked like a Sheet set! It had two shams included. There was no padding what soever! Yes this product was very cheap but I didn't think it would look like a flat Sheet! After washing it due to it being opened when it arrived, it did hold its shape very well. I put it on the bed, I think it's ok if you just want something on the bed until you can purchase a better quality comforter. I ordered a king size and the fit was great on my king bed. My bed has high slats on the sides and the comforter was only long enough to tuck in the slats, its not long enough to touch the floor on the sides but my bed design doesn't call for it to fit to the floor. I liked the design pattern very much. It's ok but don't expect a typical looking padded comforter. ... show more

I literally just bought this. I washed it according to the directions. The ties on the inside were literally shredded after laundering it. I could easily replace the ties by sewing some new ones on.... however, this is brand new and it really shouldn't have done this after the 1st wash. I'm very disappointed because it still looks nice. Now I apparently have to try and find something else to replace it with. I was also missing both pillow cases and the "Bag/Case" it arrived in the zipper was broken as well. Now, my return is processing and I probably won't get a "Full refund" being it's in "used condition" !?! ... show more

Update: fabric pilled after a few wash and drys . Darn. I don't think it's cotton. Old review: First I was not looking for a heavy richly patterned fabric type of decorative duvet. I wanted a simple thin cover and my four critera were 1. nice feel 2. rich color and thick enough not to be transparent but otherwise light weight. 3. sculpting rather than a flat drape 4. (replaceable) buttons instead of a cheap zipper that will fail or look ugly. Happily I got all these. The one I worried most about was the sculpting (pinned fabrick). I thought maybe it would turn out frilly or froo-froo or so heavily done that it would be a dirt trap. It's not. It gives the spread a spark of life without needing a pattern. It is very decorative but understated. more of a masculine thing like a geometric carving on wood. And it makes worries about wrinkles moot. However I did toss the pillows. That is where you don't want gathered pockets and sewing. the microplush fabric is soft as your arms move across it when in bed. I haven't washed this yet so I can't say if it will eventually pill. But it's great out of thepackage. It did not smell funny. it was the exact right size as it's stated dimensions. But 90 inches isn't a deep drape on any king bed. it seems to be well made. Obviously thin fabric will not be as durable as thick carpeted fabric so I imagine this won't last forever but that too is a good thing-- a chance to buy something else someday and refresh the bedroom look rahter than be stuck with a faded heirloom. and the price was great. ... show more

Be sure to measure your bed before purchasing. I had ordered a less expensive duvet cover in the size Cal King. But it was too small and I had to return it. I bought this for more money and one size up and love it.
