If you live in an area where it gets really cold (and by cold I mean at or below freezing temperatures), these are the sheets for you. I washed them first and there was quite a bit of fluff that came off and some loose threads, BUT, for the love of all things warm and toasty! Our first night crawling into bed, we didn't have to go through the nightmare of waiting for the sheets to warm up. It was immediately soft, cozy, and only got warmer from there. I really appreciate the extra elastic bands to keep the fitted sheet in place. They're also color coordinated so, if you're like me, you won't be putting the sheet on sideways the first time, every time. I cannot recommend these sheets highly enough.
