These are a great value for the money spent. Very very soft and fell right into them. Will buy from them again if/when I need to. The mixed reviews scared me but then I think I figured out what was going on. There is a seller "Elegance Linen" without the registered trademark symbol also on amazon - I think this is a scam company after reading all the reviews and doing some research I stuck with the seller that had the symbol and mine were clean, brand new, super soft and great quality. I don't know if I'm right about this or just got luck but I feel confident enough that I would buy again from them (with the symbol). ... show more

The tone of purple is more cabernet than concord (as the photo leads one to believe they are purchasing) however, it is decent quality, well constructed, and best of all: cheap! So, you know... trade offs. The other point I would make about this set is that, although it's very soft and will doubtlessly come out of the dryer fairly wrinkle free, the only way these are actually 1500tc is if someone has genetically modified silkworms to spin cotton. My best guess is that it's cotton/rayon blend. Do I feel the listing was misleading? Yes. Am I returning them? No.. for less than $30 I knew it was a crapshoot so if it lasts 6 months with my cat's proclivity to sharpen his claws on the duvet, I will count it a minor victory and probably pull the handle on the color slot machine and see what turns up next. ... show more

Be assured that this is NOT cotton; it is LIKE cotton, as it is factually however deceptively described. But, the color is outstanding and the texture it quite nice. For the price, you get what you get. The shams are of an odd size and ought to make good for dusting.

I deliberately ordered a size larger than my queen-sized bed because queen-sized duvets are often too small. The chocolate color is great--I feel like I am sleeping in dark chocolate! This was a waste of money, but not worth sending back. It is nothing more than a thin sheet. After more than an hour of struggling with it, it looked horrid. The comforter was bunched up and you could see every bump and wrinkle. I threw it in the garbage.
