  • Entertaining, Good for memory and hand and eye coordination, side buttons need improved
Simple yet fun interactive game for road trips. Unit requires 3 AA batteries Includes 8 games to entertain kids (or adults). Simple and easy games but entertaining. Lights are bright and easy to follow Side buttons often fail to respond, so that could be improved Does not require internet so that is a plus for travel Good for memory and hand and eye coordination Well made and good value for the money, but side buttons need improved. ... show more

  • Decent Game Pad, but the Side Touch Buttons Need Improvement
The main touch screen on this game pad works pretty well — it reacts quickly, and the games themselves run fine. I tried Pathfinder and Recall Rush, and both worked without any issues. They’re simple but fun, and the lights are bright enough to follow easily. The real problem is the touch buttons on the sides that you use to switch between the different games. They’re not very responsive at all. I had to press really hard for it to register, and sometimes it took a few tries. For a kids’ toy, that’s definitely not ideal. It would’ve been much better if they used physical buttons or a more sensitive touch surface. Another small issue is that there’s no clear power button. Maybe the play button is meant to turn the device off, but it wasn’t consistent, and I had trouble figuring it out. Overall, the games work well once you’re in them, but navigating between games and turning the device off is more frustrating than it should be. If the side buttons were improved, this would be a much better product. ... show more

  • Not your typical kids game! A fun way to develop memory, critical thinking skills and more!
I brought the Intellect Fun Pad over to my grand kids house to get a “real world” feel to inform my review. They are 6 and 8. Here’s a short to the point review: get this, they Loved it! Here’s the real, more in-depth review: So, everybody thinks their grand kids are very smart and I’m no different. I showed them the rules for the first game and they played it for a half hour. Then they didn’t bother asking me how to play the other games… my 8 year old read the instructions and the two of them spent the afternoon engrossed in this! I particularly like that it’s very fun and easy to use and the kids actually learn something. It’s not your typical game that just develops hand/eye coordination and fast reaction times. I can see that over time youngsters will develop much of what’s described in the listing: “Enhances critical thinking, memory skill, hand-eye coordination, and problem-solving skills through interactive play and more.” It’s a true bargain at this price! Another benefit: give this to them on a long road trip and you may not hear the dreaded “are we there yet?” ... show more

  • Great way to keep kids entertained!
This electronic light up activity pad is a great way to keep kids entertained! I got this for my youngest child as I way to give him something to do, and as also a way to limit some of his screen time. He absolutely loves it! It’s got 8 different games on it so when he’s bored with 1 game, he can go to the next. He especially loves that it has memory games and that he can continue to improve his scores each time he plays. Of course, as is typical with most kids, his favorite part is bragging about how fast he got the puzzles right or how high his scores are. This is a fun way to keep your kids entertained while also limiting the use of screens! Big fan of this toy!! ... show more

  • Simple and functional, good brain engagement.
Uncomplicated, this little device thingy is straightforward and fun, exactly the kind of simple gadget kids pick up and enjoy right away (mine is 8 and figured it out in about ten seconds). lights are bright, the games are easy to cycle through, and the memory ones are engaging and frustrating in a good way. Its sturdy enough for tossing in a backpack, and the buttons respond well without any fuss. Honestly just a nice, no-nonsense toy that does what it says and keeps them busy for a while, even if they get a bit too into it sometimes. Don't give your kid a phone. Give them something that makes them think. This is a good deal for that. ... show more

  • A Fun, Screen-Free Game Kids Keep Coming Back To
This light-up game is way more fun than I expected. With eight different games built into one little handheld, it keeps kids entertained without needing a screen. My favorite part is how simple it is to use, just tap the lights as they pop up — but it still challenges memory, focus, and reaction time. It’s been great for car rides and waiting rooms because it’s lightweight and easy to toss in a bag. The lights and sounds make it exciting, and kids actually want to keep coming back to it. I also love that it sneaks in learning while they’re playing. Overall, it’s a fantastic gift idea for kids who love fast, interactive games, and a big win for screen-free fun. ... show more
