I guess for what this table costs, it's a fair value. I put it in my basement, because I'm always needing a work surface to do little projects, and I think that's an appropriate location for it. It took me an hour and 20 minutes (working slowly) to assemble it, and I would not want to do it again. Having assembled many pieces of furniture, some manufacturers clearly label every piece for clarity. Not the case with this table. You have to match the pieces to a picture in the manual. It just makes it a little more time-consuming to assemble. However, it is sturdy. Oddly, on the control switch for raising and lowering, the up arrow lowers it and the down arrow raises it. I had high hopes for this desk but assembly is very confusing and there were also missing screws and parts. The desk came chipped on the side also. You are better off paying a little more for a better quality desk that will last you longer. The wood color is also a lot darker/rustic rather than the lighter wood color in the photos. ... show more
