Sure, the instructions totally bite and the top is made out of press board, but you’re not looking at an expensive Made In The USA sit/stand desk either. Be discerning, use some common sense, engage your inner handyman, and limit the power on your cordless screw gun and you will do fine. The desk itself came together nicely, is smooth and quiet. I have one of those expensive Made In The USA tables for a workbench and I keep this smaller unit under it to pull out when I need a larger area to work on. It’s fantastic.

I really wanted to like this standup desk. The metal parts--the legs and motor--are heavy duty and feel very solid, and the motor works well, though I do wish the cord was a little bit longer. But the top and the instructions are absolute garbage. First, don't believe the claim on the product listing that this desk can be assembled in 15 minutes--it took me almost an hour, even using an electric screwdriver as suggested. The instructions were gibberish in places ("conner the motor"?), and the illustrations made it very difficult to figure out how to orient a couple of the pieces--which had unfortunate consequences when I had to go back and move stuff. As noted above, the manufactured wood top is absolute garbage. When I screwed the two wood pieces into the base, the screws dug into the soft "wood" so that repositioning--or even removing the screws to rotate the base--stripped the holes where the screws went in, so much so that when I flipped the desk over after screwing the pieces more than half of the screws just fell out. That's really a shame because I think that with a solid wood top, or even a plywood or manufactured wood top that wasn't made out of material approaching the consistency of papier mâché, this would be a really well-made, functional desk. As it is, I had originally though about adding a keyboard tray but now I'm afraid that adding new screw holes might just cause the top to fall apart.

This is a good stand up desk. I’m giving a 4star just because of the assembly. I received it last night and was excited to put it together. All describe is exact except for the 15minutes assembly. It took more like an hour! But once assembled it works well. I like the sleekness of having all white desk.

Ordering a stand up desk for use with a walking treadmill in a home office.. Im like the desks flexibility. The overall weight is hefty and may need x2 adults to maneuver upon receiving.. (*also assemble where you tend to use and save extra moving efforts post build!) Choosing natural color option creates a sleek 2-tone appearance that elevates a space and brings a higher end aesthetic! Combination of natural wood and silver metal complement each other really well.. Choosing 48” is a solid option to fit into a compact space- desk top will providea respectable amount of room while keeping it minimal however, expect a longer skinnier space..I mention just so all are aware this can meet your preferred desktop configuration or layout. As for hydraulics and the transition of movement with the motor- 5/5..!! I was impressed with its quiet fluidity and smoothness of altering positions- I only wish the cord reach was longer! Metal legs are also on par having a nice quality finish and sturdiness one would expect. Wooden top provides a smooth surface.. only applying screws into the bottom side shows the softness of material that doesn’t adequately match the same quality of the other parts- 3/5. (enough to raise concern if moving location of desk.. I wouldn’t lift by the top!) Instructions need better explanation and translation as they can lead to a few complex or frustrating points! With x2 adult helpers we built in 40min. with a few cross words mixed in!!! Fixing this simple component could significantly improve the overall experience- Complete and in place, desk serves our purpose well.. hoping info can help your decision- stay safe everyone.

This was easy to assemble and works well. The resins slightly small for two monitors and a laptop. There are holes underneath which appear to accommodate a sliding keyboard holder which was not included. Overall, nice desk for a fair price.
