Just made my daughter’s Christmas morning! She has recently gotten into cruising on my small longboard, but definitely gets tired at times pumping and pushing all over the campgrounds and neighborhood! Now she can cruise with the Control in the palm of her hand! It came out of the box charged and ready to roll! Nice board fun to ride but if the one wheel that spins gets stuck you ain't moving the lights are the same rgb lights the board does give strain when going uphill but overall nice board

I started skateboarding sometime in the 80's, and boy has it sure evolved since then. If electric skateboards were around when I was a kid, I never would have gotten out of riding them later in life. But enough about my trip down memory lane. Let's talk about this sweet little skateboard. First of all, like the description says, it's really more for kids than full-grown adults. The main reason being it really struggles with heavier riders, and especially on hills. For younger, lighter riders? It's a TON of fun, and reasonably quick to boot, though not so fast that you'll be terrified for their lives. They're probably able to ride faster on a bicycle. Now, this seems like a good place for the standard "PSA", because where kids are concerned, I'm a big "safety first" guy when it comes to things like this. Skateboards are excellent at coming to a dead stop when you least expect it. The last time I biffed it personally was about a year ago riding another electric skateboard when I hit a buckeye that had fallen from a tree. Picking up a decent helmet when you pick up this skateboard? Would be a FINE idea, and I highly recommend doing so. Amazon sells MANY helmets for kids which will protect their delicate noggins while riding this, maybe check a few of them out if you decide to order this. That having been said, this skateboard does have a nice "safety feature" in the form of the LED lights it has around its perimeter. These lights make the skateboard VERY visible, especially at night or around dusk. Battery life is pretty good with 10-mile range, but the charger could be a bit faster for my taste, as it'll be charging for much longer than it's being ridden. It's easy to ride and use, and the remote control is very intuitive. I can't speak yet on durability, but if it's anything like my other board, you'll wear out the rubber on the hub motors before anything breaks, knock on wood. The overall quality seems very good, and I love the look of it, it's a great looking deck that anyone would enjoy riding. Overall, I think it's a great value for the money, and my only real complaint is the kind of pokey charger which could use about a 2x faster charge rate. Other than that, it's fantastic and a ton of fun to ride. 5 stars.

The media could not be loaded. I would have liked to have given this board a better review but I was not that happy with its functionality. It is a nice hefty board. It seems 5o be well made and seems to be stable - if you have good balance. I would not say this was a board for a beginner. It is supposed to take a weight of up to 185, but was slowed down with a 175lb experienced person on it. While at the lowest speed, it was a scary for a 100 pound person with no experience. Then there is the problem that it seems like the motor only turns one back wheel to move the board. If something happens to that one back wheel Ior the motor, I do not think the board will move.. I found the remote to easily pair with the board.. I let the board charge overnight,, so I do not know how long it really takes to fully charge. We played with it for a couple of hours before it started losing juice. I guesstimate we put about 8 miles on it over 2.5 hours. I think for an electrically operated board, it needs a more powerful motor and a longer board length for better stability. What really irritated me was the controls on the remote.. maybe if you have played with a lot of RC cars, it might semi more intuitive but, not to me. After pairing the remote and the board, you press the power button to scroll through setting the speed ( red bars light up on the remote) you then push the "scrolling wheel" forward t o go straight ahead. Stopping or braking is performed by simply rolling the scrolling bar backwards. The issue I had was with reverse. Reverse is not intuitive. You must first press the "reverse" button theun scroll the wheel to reverse the board. I kept wanting to scroll the wheel backwards to go back, but, in fact, you actually still scroll the wheel forward to go back after pushing the reverse button. So, you cannot just slow down then start going in reverse by reversing scrolling the wheel The lights are cool but we could not figure ou how to get different patterns to light up. I think it is a bit overpriced considering the apparent weakness of the motor and lack or strength of the motor. If I could figure out how yr mount a handle onto the board, I might try it again. Helmet required.

This electric skateboard is very cool and well made. It looks like a regular skateboard, but is much heavier due to the battery on the bottom. It is driven with a remote control, which takes a little time getting used to. If you've never ridden a skateboard before, it may be challenging to get the hang of. Once you learn how to balance well, you will be good to go. Practice on flat, smooth surfaces until you feel more comfortable. The lights on this thing are awesome! You can go pretty fast and is a lot of fun to ride. This would make a fantastic Christmas present!
