The media could not be loaded. This is my review on the electric holyway skateboard. I’ve never owned a e-board before this but this is a great experience for a budget board considering how fast it goes for the price! The brake is slow and steady and the high speed is good enough to go up steep hills. I’d recommend starting off medium then high as putting it on high mode with no momentum can cause you to fall or be unbalanced. Which I’ve done a number of times. The grip tape is on the rougher side but helps when going on hills and keeping your balance if you’re going fast. It also works perfectly fine as a regular skateboard without the motor on. I loosened the wheels for better rotation and these bearings are really solid as well. They work just as smooth as my independent bearings I’ve got for my actual skateboard. Controller is the usual electric board controller that I’ve seen other ones use but works like a charm. Whats nice is there’s replacements on amazon as well for cheap. Just Turn on the board and controller and it immediately pairs. Very smooth sailing and no issues with connectivity. One thing to note is to not use the brakes on high speeds on wet roads. It skids and causes you to go offbalance but Im pretty sure it’s the same with other e-boards. One big positive would be the customer service. I’ve had quite a few questions with how the board will withstand certain conditions and they contacted me back within a day each time. They even offered to replace the grip tape due to it loosing traction. I’d recommend this board for anyone looking for a cheap high speed electric skateboard. I even use this to commute to work and I can’t live without it!
