It was important to me to review this wonderful product. For the last two years, I have rented a scooter for the family vacation. This year I decided to look for something affordable that I could use for my son's cruise wedding/vacation. I was very happy with this scooter. It fit well in the narrow ship aisle and on the elevator. It was very easy to assemble, operate and very comfortable. I charged the battery overnight and still had half power by the end of the day. It fit in the trunk of a cab or van and could be lifted by one man. It can move very fast so I had to make sure the kids didn't adjust the speed dial. There is not one bad thing I can say about this scooter. Of course I only used it once and only plan to use when a lot of walking is necessary.

Recently, I've undergone a couple of surgeries that left me in need of a mobility device. I did my research and found that Metro Mobility M1 Lite fit the bill perfectly. It was a great value and it included all of what I wanted in a mobility scooter. BARIHO Service Team delivered the scooter early via FedEx ( for my area) and assembly took 15 minutes! These are the features I really liked: 1. Heavy duty, yet light weight. 2. Included 8" wheels, wheras many scooters that I compared that were hundreds of dollars more had 7" or even 6" wheels. 3. Very easy to manauever. 4. Simple and concise control panel 5. 9-10 mile range threshold (I bought the M1 LITE, but you can, for not much more, order the M1 that gives you larger battery and extended range 16 miles). For me max distance is only 3 miles or less roundtrip and the battery is small enough and lightweight enough to easily remove to charge. You don't have to, you can charge onboard, of course. 6. Fast battery recharge, not even overnight. 7. I won't dissemble it, but it folds and breaks down into 3 pieces, so you can if you wanted to transport it. 8. The M1 Lite doesn't include headlight or taillights, but the M1 does. I don't plan on any nighttime excursions, so not including them, and keeping the cost down kept me interested to buy. I could go on and on, but bottom line is I am extremely happy with the purchase and used it Every day since I received it.

Love my scooter. The battery lasts for days! It’s very stable cuz I’m a big girl and I sit in it for 8hrs a night. Rides smooth. Easy to use. I just wish the backrest was comfortable.
