The product itself is fine. Nothing spectacular, but does what it advertises and is of good enough quality for a less than $10 product. My only issue, and this has nothing to do with the strap itself, is that the AirPods actually fit my ears great. They stay in when I run so I don't actually use this strap much at all. If your ears are shaped differently and AirPods fall out easily, I would highly recommend this for when you want a little added security. It's easy to put on, feels comfortable enough and gives you some added peace of mind. Sure it takes away from one of the biggest advantages of the AirPods (no wires) but in certain situations, it might be nicer to know they'll stay wrapped around your neck rather than taking a potential fatal fall to the ground. All in all, if your ears don't fit AirPods perfectly, this strap wouldn't be the worst thing to have on hand.

I purchased a few solutions to keep my AirPods from accidental falling off and getting lost in drains and elevator shafts. This one is a silicon string solution which some people may prefer better over the over-the-ear hook or in-ear solutions, as you can just take your AirPods out of your ears when you're done using them and let go, and they just keep hanging on your shoulders like wired AirPods.

I have mixed feelings with this. The quality seems nice but the results is not optimum. The strap is, what I thought at first, a little on sticky side and short. This turns out to be a negative, if you put the strap around your back and turn your head, it pulls it out of your ear. I think if it was not sticky and longer, it would either slide or at least have enough slack not to pull the AirPod out. On the positive side, I once had it in my ear, and like my EarPods, I just pulled it out of my ears. Later in the day, I totally forgot it was just hanging around my neck when I wanted to use it, it was STILL there. I really thought I lost it!! If the strap was not sticky, it may slide off my neck or the AirPods comes off the strap. I don't like it hanging in front because the weight increases the odds of it being pulled out of my ear. The other problem is due to the way the AirPods work, if you don't put it back in the battery case, it stays powered on, draining the battery. You have to/should return it back to the battery case. I would consider a longer version if they made one. It is not perfect, I don't know if you can with the design of the AirPods. Sometimes its really helpful to have it to avoid losing it.

Fits snuggly, not worried about AirPods slipping out. Length is perfect. Finish is pleasant. Cord wraps around case and stays wrapped with grooves in each end. Cord unwraps without memory or tangling. Terrific product.

I read the one star reviews before purchasing. Most people said the strap is too short which I didn't think would be a problem for me - and it isn't. While short, I don't use it for jogging or running so it hasn't been an issue for me. While I typically use my Air Pods Pro for listening to the news or music when I use the strap (when feeding and doing outdoor chores), I recently had a phone call while using them with the strap and found that the caller could not hear me until I took the strap off because it blocks the mics! Talk about an epic fail!

I like Elago's products, and these are fine, but do not really solve the problem for me. Yes, they grip the AirPods and would prevent losing one that's fallen out of your ear. They don't cover any ports or sensors and do not interfere with using the AirPods as designed. I am a 6'1" man with a normal sized neck, and the "perfect" 450mm is too short. While using this strap, turning my head adjust the slack on either side of the strap, and it's made of silicone so there is some amount of stickinesss to my skin. Which means, before long, the strap is gently tugging on one or both AirPods and eventually making them fit loosely in the ear or pulling them out altogether. It's worse when walking, which was the primary reason I bought this (most likely an AirPod will fall out of my ear).
