Hopefully, this helps you if you are on bigger side.. 250sh lbs 5'7 40D bought XL fits perfect still has an extra maybe inch to inch and half extra room within abdominal area. (I am fuller in that area) If you want a bit much looser fit id size up. Material is very light and its soft enough. I bought an extra one because its good quality. I’m 5’4” 135lbs and the medium fits with plenty of room to spare. Very comfy fit and just as I expected it. Small would’ve been fine too, but I wanted a very relaxed fit. The material is very soft. It’s not that overly stretchy material most night gowns are made of these days. It’s not too thin or thick.

I got extra large just so I could have it loose. I could have gotten a large and it would've fit just fine. This is after one wash. It's super soft and comfortable! Totally worth it.

Love this nightgown but it does run bigger than normal sizes. I originally ordered this for our 11 year old. She’s tall but very thin so I thought a medium might work (there are no smalls). However, it was way too large for her. I am 5’6, 190lbs and this fits great on me so I’m keeping it BUT the medium nightgown is more like a large/x-large size - definitely size down. It is very comfortable (except for the tag) and quite soft. It did not shrink or bleed in the wash.

I love this nightgown. It fits as expected, it's super comfortable with soft fabric, and I LOVE the longer sleeves. I love that the material is not see-through (as are some nightgowns I have purchased) and I also love the length. It isn't too long, but it also isn't too short.
