If you are looking for a robe that is lightweight enough for spring and fall, and yet not made out of cheap, flimsy cotton or worse, Halloween-costume type of material, look no further. It does have some weight to it (again, not see-through thin cotton) but just enough for it to serve its purpose and envelope you in its cottony comfortable softness. The sleeves are truly long (instead of neither here not there) and unlike (reviews for) other robes I have seen, the bottom does not open when you walk (A cut). I washed it before wearing it and hung it to dry and it preserved its color and shape. Since it is cotton, I expect it would shrink a little if dried in the dryer, but it does run a little big, so there is that, but I like it a little bigger, plus the sleeves are just long enough. If you are planning to hang it to dry, I would recommend ordering one size down for it to be form-fitting. I am planning to order another one in the near future.

I ordered this at the end of my pregnancy to wear at the hospital after giving birth (don’t bother putting on normal clothes until you are about to head home as there’s no point and you don’t need extra laundry). After having 5 kids I knew what the ideal robe for me would be: 1- needed to be lightweight so I wasn’t overheating with hormone sweats 2-sleeves couldn’t be super wide and baggy to where they would get dipped in water or the PB making breakfast 3- long enough that if I bent over my rear end wasn’t sticking out for all to see 4- soft and comfortable if I had to wear half the day and was nursing in it. This one completely fit the bill and I am happy with my purchase as other name brand robes of similar style were easily 3 times as much.

I love this robe! I bought it to wear after delivering my baby in the hospital but find myself wearing it frequently at home as well. The sleeves are not so long that they get in the way (like when doing dishes) but still reach almost to my wrists. I love that it has pockets for my phone and kindle and that there is a slit for making walking easier (but the slit doesn't go up too high for functionality). I also love that it is not too hot to wear during the warmer months (I live in a desert).

This robe is very light and I really like that it’s also long because a i am 5’9 and wanted something longer that I could wear at home with my new baby. However, I ordered this in the color black and the color that I guess they think is black is really like a dark forest green. I’m still going to wear it but kind of bummed that it wasn’t a nice black color. it kind of looked like the black dye hadn’t fully soaked in the material.
