I bought this dress for post delivery as well as potential delivery. When it arrived the material was better than expected! It is a stretchy very soft fabric that gives you space while also feeling like it fits well! The bust area is very comfortable and great for easy access for breastfeeding. The stomach area is great to access for dippers and labor monitoring however to walk around in may expose some things you might not want it to!     • Softer and cuter than expected
I am a curvy human (my size oscillates between a size 10-16) and being pregnant is no exception. I tend to prefer tighter clothes so I do not look enormous. I was concerned this wouldn't be very flattering. I am also very sensitive to weird, plastic-like synthetic fabrics. The empire waist on this dress makes this very flattering on my body. I was a size 12 pre-pregnancy currently, I am 5'7", my breasts are around a 40DDD and I ordered an XL and it fits well and I think will still look nice postpartum for nursing. The fabric is wonderful and soft. The part where you can expose your abdomen for examinations isn't super easy to move to the side, but I think it's going to work just fine for labor and will be my go-to outfit for nursing postpartum. In fact, I just ordered two more in other colors because I can see wanting to wear these dresses all the time postpartum. I also wanted something lightweight and breathable as I am having a summer baby and these dresses will stay really cool. (I ordered the version that unsnaps at the shoulders and has no sleeves, FYI). ... show more

I was looking for something that would be comfortable wearing around the house during the day, that would be comfortable and not too lazy/slob looking. And it is very convenient for actual nursing works well enough, though after a few weeks of breastfeeding I’ve learned that I need clothing that has a shelf for breast pads. This gown works fine with the disposable pads with sticky backing but I move around too much at night and the pads get off my breasts and I end up being wet, which defeats most of the purpose of the dress. ... show more
