I have been searching for a new duvet for a couple of months. Every design in stores now was too common, modern, trendy, busy or plain. I wanted something that was neutral but still had interest. Something that would never go out of style. This set is just perfect. The fabric is soooo soft and luxurious. And it is the same pattern on the reverse side which is amazing if one side becomes stained. Other sets usually have a plain white thin fabric on the reverse side. The quality of the stitching is perfect, I am a stickler for those details. The only con is the difference in color depicted on the online photos. It appears to be a natural color when in fact it does have a slight golden hue. Not a big issue for me because it actually looks gorgeous on my upholstered bed. As far as price goes, I found this set on other websites for $40-$60 more. Thank you once again, Amazon!!!! ... show more

First of all when it arrived I was blown away with the packaging and how beautiful it was. I've had my duvet cover for a few months now and have washed it quite a few times. It's soft and cool and beautiful. No fading. It looks expensive and I'm so thrilled with my purchase. The ties in the corners are of excellent quality and I haven't had any issues with them. MATERIAL: I was nervous about this purchase because I have 2 pups I share the bed with and wasn't sure if the material would hold up. Well, let me tell you, this material is fantastic. Washed up beautifully and is soft against the skin. Making the bed feels easier because this material holds its own, especially when the puppies play on the bed. CONSTRUCTION: Comes with ties to hold the comforter in place and uses clear buttons for the closure, which turns inward to hide the buttons, located at the foot of the cover. I purchased a king for my queen sized bed which I find to be perfect in length as it helps to cover my box spring...let alone keeps me covered now. No more fighting for covers :D PACKAGING: I'm so impressed with the quality and design, even down to the packaging. You could easily gift this without wrapping it. It comes in its own box, with a window to show the print, and includes a matching bag with handles that holds the duvet and shams.
