Just got the mustard color duvet. I would say the color is actually more gold/ochre... gorgeous in person with a lovely sheen. As others have said the package is this fancy black box with tissue paper. I read reviews that the sheen went away after one wash. I went ahead and washed on gentle cycle, cold, inside out, and used Woolite. Dryed inside out on low. Results....sheen still looking as it did fresh out the box. I think I'll get the plum color as well ... show more

These duvet covers are so comfortable. The cotton is high quality and it feels smooth and cool to the touch. The ties on the inside of the cover fasten to the duvet so the cover doesn't slide over to one side of the duvet. Everything stays in place! The colours are vibrant and the designs are crisp. And it does look good. It prevents your bed from being an eyesore during the rest of the day, which it definitely was to me as I recently moved from having a folding bed that can be put out of sight to a fixed one. I was worried about the texture, but it's very smooth. The material and the stitches do look high quality. It also comes with one pillowcase that unfortunately doesn't have a zipper or buttons and has this weird edge, a cloth bag that you can use for shopping or to store it in when not used, and a sleeping mask. The sleeping mask touches your eyeballs, so it's not very good, but hey, it's a bonus item that they don't say is included. ... show more

Colors are exactly like the pictures....my dog loved the new bedding so much, she chewed the corner of one of the pillow covers. Still, it's pretty and the price is doable. Forget getting animal hair off it though.

I really do love this duvet and sham set. I ordered mustard yellow, and it is unique and fun. What I'm not happy about is, after you wash once, the beautiful sheen that it has when it arrives, is literally gone in one wash. Whatever that sheen is, it creates a rich, shiny, elegance to the material, and a slightly deeper mustard color. Once washed, it's literally GONE, and the material looks much more dull and not as rich of a mustard color. I still like it, but the set seems vulnerable now that the coating has come off. The duvet cover was accurately depicted. Good value from the money. I have a box king bed and it extends to cover the mattress on both sides. I haven’t washed it yet so I can’t speak to washability yet. I purchased the Airluck down all-season insert which I’m not a fan of. It has that loud scratchy noise typical of low thread count bedding. This is unfortunate because I exclusively use PeachSkin sheets to avoid that and didn’t experience that with the duvet prior to the insert arriving.
