Bolted right in and started right up. Only thing i did was swap over the idle adjustment cable, the one that comes with the carb was a little short.

The carb itself will work, but I want to point out some issues I had with mine. I installed this right out of the box, and the ATV would not idle or rev up. I started adjusting the mixture screw and the throttle idle screw and still never ran good. I took the carb apart and the jets inside are not labeled for size, I took my old carb and removed my known good jets from it, once this new carb had the correct jets installed, the ATV ran great. Starts right up and revs up without delay. I also saw the bottom of the carb bowl, where the overflow "is", is a fake overflow, that little nipple on the bottom of the bowl is not actually drilled through, so the little rubber hose that is suppose to attach to that is just a trick. I wanted to put the bowl from my old carb onto this one so I had the overflow, but the bowls are slightly different and will not allow the old carb bowl to mount to the new carb. I would recommend this carb, but would suggest changing jetting to known good sizes before even trying to put it on the ATV. ... show more

Shipped fast, arrived intact and was identical to the OEM original except for the idle adjustment cable …it was a bit too short but I just used the one from the old carburetor. Also came with a new choke, cap and spring. Everything matched up perfectly and it started right up, all I had to do was back out the pilot screw about a half turn and it’s running better than it did with the old carburetor. I’m very happy how this carburetor fixed my sluggish 2003 Eiger, I tried cleaning the old carburetor, it helped a bit but was still was running awful, now it reminds me of the way it used to run when it was brand new some 20 plus years ago! ... show more
