My grand kids spend a good bit of time with us in the summer months, and several are avid skaters, so part of the shop turns into a board shop every year as they work on finding new ways to break things and then try to fix them. For me, I'm just glad to see them working with their hands and learning how stuff works, but I also tire of the obstacle course that develops, especially since as soon as something gets fixed, everything gets dropped and they're gone like the wind, so we're still working on that part, but having a place for everything, everything in its place is my mantra, so these help set the tone. They are very heavy duty, way more than is necessary for hanging any board I've ever seen, but they are definitely secure. The hangers are simple to fasten to the wall, but I would suggest sticking to anchoring to a stud and not depending upon hollow wall anchors, because these things are going to get yanked on. The vinyl tubing on the hanger hooks does a nice job of not marring the trucks, but I'm not sure how necessary they are. Still nice to have I suppose since these look like you could easily adapt them to hang all sorts of things other than skateboards. I have a soil probe for instance, that has an absolutely deadly solid stainless steel point at the end of a large Tee bar that would definitely make me feel better about if it were hanging on one of these. The hangers are offered at what I feel is a decent price, so there is reasonable value here for the money, and the steel construction is robust enough that they'll probably outlast all of us.

These are much sturdier than I expected for the price. I originally picked them up for garage organization and ended up using one to hang my carbon fiber bike since it’s well under the stated weight limit. Mounted into a stud, the hook feels very solid and doesn’t flex or wobble at all. The rubber coating is thick enough that I’m not worried about scratching the frame either. The metal itself has a nice heavy feel instead of the thin stamped steel a lot of cheap hooks use. One oddly specific thing I noticed is the hook spacing worked perfectly with the bike frame angle without needing to fight it into position. Definitely not limited to skateboards — these are basically general-purpose heavy-duty garage hooks if you get creative with them.

I was looking for a simple way to get my boards off the floor, and these mounts are surprisingly solid given the price point. The metal is very sturdy—I tried bending it with my hands and couldn't get it to budge at all. It feels much more premium and durable than you'd expect for something so inexpensive. The rubber that actually holds the trucks is heavy-duty and provides a nice, secure grip. I tested it with both my street deck and my longboard, and it was a perfect fit for both standard truck sizes. It keeps the board hanging straight and secure without any wobbling or slipping. The kit comes with all the screws and wall anchors you’ll need for installation, which is always a plus. It’s a straightforward, functional setup that does exactly what it’s supposed to do without any unnecessary bells and whistles. Honestly, these are cheap and functional—what more do you really need? I picked these up specifically to hang my ironing board and a garden hose, and honestly they’re perfect for both. Sure, they’re marketed as skateboard hooks, but don’t let that limit your thinking — these things can handle just about anything you’d want to get off the floor and onto a wall. Build quality is the first thing that stood out. These feel genuinely solid in your hand, not the flimsy stamped-metal hooks you find in the bargain bin. The black steel mounting plate has a nice heft to it, and the double-hook design gives you real flexibility in how you hang things. The red rubber coating on the hooks is a thoughtful detail — it keeps whatever you’re hanging scratch-free and adds a little grip so things don’t slide around. It’s the kind of small touch that tells you the designer actually thought about how these would be used in the real world. Another thing I appreciated: all the mounting hardware is included. Wall anchors, screws — it’s all in the bag, ready to go. No last-minute hardware store run required. My one wish? Color options on the rubber. At $7 when I picked these up, I thought that was a solid deal on a pair of skateboard hanger brackets, so a 5/5 in value. In terms of quality, these are decent, a 4/5. These fit the trucks of my longboards just fine. They're easy to mount in just minutes. I have wood walls and so they went up super simple, much nice than trying to find a stud or hang in drywall, though you can do that with these because of the included screws and drywall expanders. The only thing I don't like is the red rubber coverings. To me those are just ugly and make the bracket look like it's made for garden tools. Why? Why do that? If the rubber were black, that would have been ideal. Besides you want to see the board more than the bracket anyway, so why make that standout? No idea. But still, I do like their functionality. At a 5/5 in value and 4/5 in quality, these are a 4.5/5 overall.

These skateboard wall mounts are fairly universal in that you can hang pretty much any skateboard on them. My only complaint is that you can't hang them the other way- I'd love to see the bottom of the board, but I'm not sure how they would even do that. This is a very fast and efficient way to hang your skateboard for those who use it often, it's very no fuss- grab and go, quickly put it up kind of storage, and I love that about it. I'm much more likely to skate when the board is ready to go and conveniently right next to the front door! And it doesn't look bad either, though the bottom wheels may leave some stuff marks on your wall. I also love that the kit came with no drill wall anchors, making it very easy to install as well as use. I definitely recommend this product to anyone who is looking for basically a coat rack for your skateboard.

Excellent skateboard hanger. I had something similar but it was not made to hold skateboard, but it worked. This hook is made for a skateboard and it holds it just right. It's my daughter's skateboard and it's a long one so I needed something solid to hold it up on the garage wall. It does function for this purpose well. But, I can be re-purposed for something else.
