The gooseneck feature on this tripod is by far my favorite aspect of it. A lot of tripods I've bought in the past are rigid and I have to finagle with the settings to get just the right angle. Now with the flexibility of this tripod stand, it's shaved a few minutes off of my initial setup, allowing me to get to my video recording faster. I also appreciate that this came with a remote, which is handy whenever I need to quickly pause or don't like how a certain section of the video came out. It's pretty easy to set up since it only comes in three pieces. The tripod, the gooseneck, and the phone accessory. The tripod seems pretty stable. So far, the gooseneck stays where I put it with the phone in the attachment. It's lightweight and overall is really convenient

This tripod is very versatile for many applications. Highly adjustable. The remote activation is a big plus. However, it is not what I would call a "selfie stick". It's too heavy and bulky. It was returned for that reason alone.
