I love these curtains, they are pink, glowy, and light up my entire living room against my forest green walls. But I have hung white black out curtains behind them and they still gloooow, and there is no hope of watching a movie while the sun is up. If the goal is black out, hang black blackout curtains behind these haha, but I got them on sale for $35 a set, and I adore them. They have no instructions though, and I have no clue how to use the little shashes to ties back the gauzy layer. Really, very cute, misleading naming. This solved both of my wants. I purchased white and they are the prettiest white and the best quality cotton. All wrinkles came out beautifully. Careful when buying multiple sets. I ordered 4 sets. They were shipped from different warehouses 2 sets were whiter than the other. Amazon was fantastic in sending out another 2 sets no charge so I could match up which ones I was going to keep. We wanted the option of blackout with the back panels and light filtering with the front. Giving this 4 stars because they’re beautiful curtains just not black out. I work night shift so I like my room being pitch black. I just moved into an apartment and they already have blinds on the window and with the blinds closed and the curtains closed this is still how much light was let into the room at 3 in the afternoon. These curtains are gorgeous and actually very well made. I ordered the Black Pearl and they are a dark gray, but they worked just fine for me. If you need a true, true black these are not it.
