The media could not be loaded. No more fighting over covers! We have a California King sized bed and I purchased the Persian King Sized Down Comforter (some call it a super-king size comforter). When it arrived, I followed the included instructions - you can lay it out for a day and it will fluff up or you can throw it in the dryer on the “air fluff” setting or low heat setting and it will fluff up in minutes. I’m impatient and choose to throw it in the dryer on air fluff for 20-30 minutes and it came out exactly as it looks in my pictures. My husband sleeps hot and I sleep cold and we both have been sleeping comfortably with this comforter for months. It’s very cozy and you can really curl up and swaddle yourself to sleep every night with this soft comforter. I’ve had no issues with feathers coming out and poking you. The material has stayed put… it has not shifted or bunched up in the corners. I put a duvet cover over it and the temperature is still comfortable and the comforter has stayed locked in place inside the duvet. You don’t have to constantly rearrange it. It’s been low maintenance. I’ve not had to refluff it in the dryer. I went with the heavier option because, I wanted a more fluffy and full look and we are not over heating. It is winter time in the Midwest as I write this but, the temperature inside the house is 71° and if im feeling a little warm I just take a leg out and bunch it up between my knees for support and I’m back to a good nights sleep. This is a great down comforter. I tried ones from Costco but they weren't warm enough so I gave this one a try. This one was nice and warm and fluffy compared the the other ones I tried and was a great deal as well. I have bought two of these and the reason I only gave it four stars is because the first one only lasted five years before all the filling was lost or migrated to the bottom which resulted in it needing to get replaced. Due to it's cost and fill amount, it is a great deal, just be aware you may need to replace it sooner than other more expensive comforters. ... show more

I recently bought Pacific coast goose down comforter (650 fill power) from Costco, which was a very pleasant comforter which they claimed to be for 4 seasons. I just wasn't sure if it was thick enough to bear cold winter season. So I didn't use it and kept on looking online and ordered this one. I see clear difference between the two. The most distinctive difference is the weight. The cotton itself is thicker by far, so it will already make Egyption bedding much warmer. The filling is twice (or even 3 times) as thicker in Egyption bedding, however, it contains lots of feathers. You can feel the hard feathers just by grabbing, moreover, you can even see the dark feathers through such thick cotton. Meanwhile, the Pacific coast one is filled with really soft down only. When you grab it, you cannot feel any hard feather inside. I like both for different reasons, but what I was looking for seems to be the Egyption Bedding one, as I was looking for thick one for the coldest winter. Egyption Bedding - Heavy in weight and thick - distinctively contains feathers - Louder noise making material - Duvet tabs. Very nice. - Not suitable for any other season but winter Pacific Coast 650 fill power - Softer casing cotton, less noise, white with stripe texture. - No duvet tab. Suitable for using without Duvet. - Very fine goose down filling, lighter weight not light enough for summer. - Suitable for spring, fall and warm winter. I conclusion, I guess I will have to return the Costco one since I'd rather have light weight for summer and super heavy for winter, and I don't need something that can't cover either. However, if you live in warm region or keep your room temperature warm during the winter, I recommend Costco one since it looks finer product. I purchased this comforter for the upcoming winter. We have 19 degree nights & snows all winter here. So I havnt used it yet but will update this review. I'll will say shipping was quick & the comforter came in a very nice bag with a zipper which I plan on storing it in during the summer months. My concern is that it's puffed so much that it won't fit lol. I am also writing today because of the quality of the comforter. It's absolutely beautiful! They took extra time in the workmanship & look . The edges are sewn beautifully & looks like a very expensive comforter! It's heavy & the material used feels of good quality & like it will last a vet long time. To me it's a nice feeling material. It feels like a thick cotton. I'd say it's soft but keep in mind, its new. I bet a million bucks once it's washed & dried it's going to soften & cozy with every wash as cotton does. It had no smell that people talk about. I layed it out for a few days & boy it puffed up. This is going to only be used in winter because it's warm. I also purchased a heated fitted mattress pad to work in combination to keep us toasty. I hate sleeping with the fireplace running but obviously we must sometimes or we'd freeze. So this year I'm hoping this doesn't the trick. I also ordered another down comforter for the summer with high reviews. It cost 24 bucks with tax/ shipping a total of 30.00. I pray that works for summer. I'll update more in winter... ... show more
