Color: for iPhone X OLED
This is a great product and one of the best complete kits I have purchased. I have two kids and have replaced multiple iPhone screen versions. I purchased the iPhone X kit. It came with all of the specialty screwdrivers and an excellent magnetic pad with a map of the phone to show you where to place the screws after you remove them. It also includes a screen protector to put on after you finish. A few comments: The suction cup sucks, or more specifically, doesn't. It kept coming off the screen as I pulled. I ended up sacrificing a metal tape measure (I cut a small section off it) to get a small "blade" under the edge of the broken screen to remove it. Use plenty of heat to loosen the adhesive. Once it was off, the instructions are great at showing exactly where each screwdriver goes (they are color matched on the instructions). I did not end up using the red screwdriver as my interior screws were all the "yellow" screwdriver type. When you remove the earpiece, you need to note the position of the gold grounding plate which attaches to the middle screw. I attached a picture so you can see how it should be oriented. The tab is upright and positioned so the "back" of the tab goes toward the home button. It rotates as you tighten the screw so you will need to hold it in place with another screwdriver to keep it oriented correctly. To get the waterproof seal on, be sure to get it under the rim of the metal edge of the phone. Press it down firmly all the way around. I heated mine a bit to make sure it was sticky, then pressed it around again before removing the blue backing film. To get the backing film off, I had to use scissors and cut the center of the film out, then peeled it off very gently. It didn't work for me to try the tab that was on the film to get it off, it kept peeling up the waterproof seal. Finally, the screen protector has a black edge inlaid into it which makes orienting it very easy. The inlaid edge has a plastic covering on it, which you can peel off when you are done. My screen had a slight pink hue, but this self-corrected after a few power on and off. The manufacturer needs to include a better suction cup and a thin metal pry piece. Hope this helps....

Color: for iPhone X OLED
The media could not be loaded. First off I’m sorry if you are reading this review, which means your iPhone X has been damaged! This product came with everything show from the box in my video introduction. It took me approximately 1 hr. To make the replacement. The 1st 20 minutes spent on separating the screen from the frame. Take your time to warm up the screen with a blow dryer or heat gun! As much as you may want to use a sharp implement to pry them apart, don’t do it!!! The plastic tri-pick worked just fine, be patient. Keep warming up the screen and slowly pry the screen all the way around with the supplied tool. The included instruction is great and please familiarize yourself with it if you are doing this for the first time. The color coded tools make it easier to select which to use to prevent stripping these tiny screws. Make sure to use the helpful magnetic tray. Place each screw that you remove in its proper place, they are different size length! NOTE: (In my particular situation, I found a mistake with the illustration/instruction (#2) regarding the “disassemble panel”) The instruction shows (4) yellow - Y shape screws and (1) red - Phillips’ screw at the very bottom of the tab plate. My particular iPhone X had (5) Y shape screws that I was able to see with my magnifying goggles. NOT (4) and (1) as stated with the included instructions! Everything else worked perfectly as stated in the instruction! Three things to take your time doing; use the plastic spudger tool to remove the old sticker/seal around the frame. Be careful aligning the replacement seal when time to do so...it’s easier to align one corner first followed by the side before pressing into place! The third part, is taking your time removing and making sure to carefully remove the earphone and sensor module. There is a grounding tab that is not clearly illustrated in the instruction manual. Make sure to carefully look and watch how it rest in place when replacing. Overall, I think it’s a great product. I am a bit doubtful of the resolution quality of the OLED screen vs OEM. My eyes tell me that this replacement does not have the same pixel resolution as Apple’s OEM screen, but it certainly does the trick, hence the 4 stars! Oh, if you do plan on replacing your screen, consider doing the battery replacement at the same time if your recharging health is below 75%. Something that I should have done last night! 🤣 Best of luck and keep supporting our Right to Repair movement...Our Products, Our Choice!

Color: for iPhone XS Max OLED
I just finished installing and testing this screen. The installation was pretty smooth, but I had to use some other references for the best results. The screen is functioning without any noticeable issues so far. Touch sensitivity works well. The biggest issue I have is that the screen was falsely advertised as an OLED. Upon inspection, the backlight bleeds through on blacks, meaning this is actually an LCD screen being falsely advertised as an OLED. I wish I hadn't paid extra for the "OLED" version. Another small issue is that the colors are much duller than OEM, but that is to be expected for a cheap replacement. The waterproofing was impossible to install and seems so insignificant I doubt it would provide any real water protection. With all that said, considering the price, this is still worth your while and a good way to keep a decent phone functioning longer after an accidental screen break. I would go with the LCD version since the OLED is not actually OLED.
