My daugter is obsessed with balls. These are the perfect sixe for her to grab to roll/throw. The material isn't hard enough to hurt if hit with or stepped on. These sensory balls are just the right size for little hands. Bigger than a baseball, maybe about softball size. The bumps on the outside make it easier to hold. Although they don't light up, they have little bits of colored items inside to shake. My granddaughter likes playing with them.
