  • Challenging to install proper drivers
Install tips...... It does work with AMD computers even though it contains an intel chip IN the card. After finding out the model number from amazon chat (EP-9651GS) and searching the EDUP driver page, it became apparent there is not a driver specific to that model. However, the driver page does have the intel AX210(the chip used in the networking card) driver. However, that driver link was/is broken. So we had to search for the ax210 intel driver which we found on the intel driver download page. (Make sure you pick the correct windows 10 32 or 64 bit) Once that driver was installed it worked like a champ. Also, it works perfectly in the longer slots on the motherboard no problem. Hope this helps!! ... show more

  • Bluetooth connection is super/WiFi 6 connects fast and maintain connection steadily
Great product. 1. Installation onto motherboard is easy and fast. Just remember to connect the USB power cable from the card to 9-pin USB port on motherboard for the bluetooth to work. 2. Installation of drivers next from the included CD seems to be quite easy. Or you can find the driver AX210 on Intel website. 3. Wifi 6 connects in a breeze with sustain speeds on my Gigabit Internet speeds, almost same as wired internet connection. This is a great feature of the card, adding the wireless connectivity to my PC. 4. Bluetooth 5.2 works fine, if not better than USB bluetooth dongle4.0 for sure. I had problem connecting the Sony bluetooth headset to the 4.0, but with this BT5.2 it connects so easily. The sound quality is surprisingly supert with this card on the headset. I would recommended. ... show more

  • Works well but installation is not very straightforward
I bought two of these for some of the computers we have at home. I get a really strong signal but I'm also no more than 10 yards away from my WAP on both of my computers so I can't comment much on that. I have 1Gb up and down at home and I am able to get 600-700Mb on average with both of these computers and it's the average on the rest of the systems around the house as well. I'm a technician so I'm good at troubleshooting. But the average user might not be and it wasn't very straightforward. Basic drivers are not found automatically despite using an (internal) USB connection along with PCIe. Generally speaking, Windows and Ubuntu both find basic drivers to start off. You can then check for updates to get more optimized drivers. This was not the case here. I have a copy of Snappy Driver Installer with recent drivers for Windows. So I was able to get it going that way. On Ubuntu, I had to do a hard wired connection to download the drivers beforehand. Also, Intel does not provide a GUI based solution to install their drivers on Linux, so you'll have to do a few terminal commands to get it working. Do note that both of my machines are custom built, AMD based systems. The Windows machine uses an AsRock B550 Steel Legend motherboard and the Linux machine uses a Gigabyte B450M DS3H V2. My suggestion to other users is to download the drivers before hand. You can do it to a USB using another computer, download it via a hard wired connection (Ethernet/RJ45) to the machine you'll be using it on, or your phone and connect it to your computer in order to make the installation go smoother. They do provide a CD with drivers, but let's be honest: the vast majority of people don't use optical media in 2021. However, if you do have an optical disc reader you might be in luck. I don't have one at home so I didn't use it but I'm guessing that's what's on the CDs. ... show more

  • Blazing fast wifi 6 card, wish I had the drivers on a USB instead of mini CD
This wifi card was super easy to install on my mobo. The drivers for me came on a mini CD instead of a USB, which added a little friction to the install but luckily my PC has a CD drive with a holder for mini CDs. I only have 1 USB 9-pin input on my mobo and figuring that out, so I have not yet tested the bluetooth. But in my wifi testing the speeds are as high as I would expect with my current setup/connection, and local router pings are 100% reliable with 1ms or less every time. Overall this is working great and completely fits my needs, but if I didn't have a CD drive the installation would have been painful. ... show more

  • Not "tri-band"
I paid a few dollars more, because the description said it was the newest "tri-band" WiFi. Went the package arrived the box says, "dual band". This does work just fine, but next time, I would save a few buck and buy the less expensive adapter.

  • Very Good Speeds using wifi 6
The adapter was easy to install in my Lenovo PC. I'm getting consistent speeds in excess of 400 mbps using wifi 6 with my Ampli Alien router. I have 2 walls between my PC and the router, as well as some other things that interfere with wifi, but the adapter has been working consistently well for the month I've been using it. ... show more

  • Online driver download archive is mislabelled
The major problem I had with installing was finding the right drivers. The provided disk is not usable by many modern computers, and as a result you have to find the drivers online; the link on their website will download a .zip file, but when you try to open it Windows will tell you the .zip is invalid. THIS IS BECAUSE THE FILE IS MISLABELLED! According to 7zip, the archive is actually a .rar file; as such, it's best to use 7z extraction (or WinRar) to save yourself the headache. Other than that, no complaints! ... show more

  • It works, but lacking documentation or inaccurate description (Wi-Fi 6E).
The card does have Wi-Fi 6, did not have the 6 ghz band that is part of Wi-Fi 6E. Not sure if that's a hardware or driver issue. Installing is like any other pcie card except for the additional USB riser for Bluetooth. It's easy enough, but you need to check for the pins on your motherboard. You may have to choose between the cards Bluetooth or some USB ports that would to be disconnected and unusable on your computer case. ... show more
