Inspired by the classic design and construction of Eddie Bauer menswear, the Kingston ensemble features an indigo cotton twill face with contrast double needle topstitching creating a classic design. Set include coordinate shams with stitching details (1 sham with twin size). the comforter reverses to a handsome indigo and ivory Buffalo plaid print on cozy, soft all cotton flannel for additional warmth and comfort. I absolutely love these comforters. They look great in our lodge style motel rooms. They were a great price on Amazon, so we put them in all rooms for the winter. They were nice and warm and thick. However- they are so large they don't fit in our washing machines, so our cleaners tried, and the stuffing ended up pretty messed up. If you buy these- I would not recommend standard laundering- definitely hang to dry or take to a drycleaner. We switched to this exact style and color EB duvet and eliminated that issue, but I really did love these and they were very comfortable. I would have kept using them myself, but our beds need to look pristine at all times, I cannot have lumps! I received the comforter today and so far I like it. It is cotton but feels like a thicker cotton material. It’s not very soft but it’s definitely not rough. I’ve had super soft cotton comforters before and they wear out fast and rip easily, and I don’t see that happening with this comforter. It’s not a stiff comforter where it sticks up at the corners when you lay it on the bed - it lays nice. I went with the king size for my queen bed. I like the extra length comforter for 2 people because we both toss and turn and I win the comforter battle most nights. The king size lays nice on my queen bed especially that I have a few inch mattress topper and my bed sits pretty high. I usually buy a higher end comforter sets but I went through 4 sets in 6 years and it was disappointing. They rip easily and the filling bunches up on the edges whey you wash them. I didn’t want to spend that much this time and I’m satisfied with the quality and price point of this comforter set. You get what you pay for but I think this set is worth the buy. ... show more

I bought 2 to make my adult sons’ rooms comfortable when they visit. I live in FL so didn’t want anything too heavy but also not too thin. They arrived on time. Well packaged. No strange odors when unpacked as sometimes happens with bedding and linens from Amazon. There is a comforter and matching in each set. The quality is exceptional. A crisp-cotton feel, vibrant colors. It fit the twin mattresses perfectly with just the right amount of overhang. Fluffy right out of the box. The price was very fair for this kind of quality. Had this a few years now Lasting well. Lovely fabric feel and elegant design, subtle colors. Lightweight Medium warmth ; used all year round in NJ, with an extra layer in winter. I can fit it in my large washer and dryer, which is a huge advantage.

I want a plastic free household. The entire reason I purchased this comforter set was because it was advertised as being 100% cotton. The product title, description, and materials section all stated 100% cotton with no mention of any kind of polyester... The comforter was just delivered and I open it up to find two different tags on it. One says "100% polyester" while the other says "100% cotton fill: 100% polyester". So either I was sent a cheap knock off or this listing on Amazon is a scam and not actually selling a 100% cotton product like they are advertising. Shame too, because I like Eddie Bauer as a brand and the styling of this comforter set. But I am looking strictly for 100% cotton which this product is falsely advertising itself as... I would not recommend purchasing it. ... show more

I love the clean and simple style of this comforter! Country-inspired vibe with a classic plaid design. This was a great value and well worth the price. Here’s my hot take on the pros and cons: PROS: 1) This a high-quality 100% cotton fabric — nice and soft. My husband and I couldn’t stand our scratchy polyester comforter, so we were really on the hunt for another option, and this was the perfect find for us. 2) The mid-weight of this comforter is not too light and not too heavy. Ideal for all seasons. My husband is somehow always hot at night, and I’m apparently a cold-blooded species of lizard who needs to sun myself on a rock regularly to maintain any type of body heat, yet this suits us both. 3) The set comes with two matching pillow shams. Call me a simple gal, but that is all I need to make my bed look nice. I will never understand the need for comforter sets that include 18 decorative pillows you have to throw on the floor every night and rearrange every morning (but maybe that’s just me). 4) Machine washable! 5) Many full/queen comforters are 90x90, whereas this is 96x92. That bit of extra fabric is a huge plus, particularly if you have a bed partner who steals the comforter over to their side in the middle of the night with blatant disregard for you — only to defend themselves the next morning by saying things like “I was asleep the whole time” and “I really don’t remember doing that” and “oh god is this going to come up in couples’ therapy again?” Cons: Just one. Cancel your plans because you’re going to be taking a lot more naps under this comforter. Just kidding, it’s a pandemic, you didn’t have any plans anyway.
