Seemed cool at first but as you can see by the picture, the two haves are separating which doesn’t make this a fun and functional fidget toy. Super disappointed with the build quality. It seems others have had the same feedback.

I just got mine out of the mail about an hour ago. Second thing I did was take it apart to inspect it after reading the negative reviews. The device consists of 4 metal plates in 2 pairs, 2 ball bearings, 2 tapered springs, 4 screws, and a 5th screw holding together the seemingly unique sliding mechanism. Having played with it, taken it apart, looked it over thoroughly, putting it back together and playing with it again, it seems obvious to me that this device is intended to be used gently, with some level of care, and probably won’t handle dirty or wet environments well. If you like to tinker, everything on the device looks easy enough to repair or replace except for the unique sliding mechanism. I’d say it’s best kept at home or in your office so that if it does get overused and break/disassemble itself, you can fix it. If you want a fidget toy that can handle more intense use with little/no maintenance, I’d look for another one. For me the maintenance is part of the fidgeting, I love it a lot personally and look forward to fixing it when it breaks. My 3 stars is meant to be honest to other people’s experience with the item, MY honest opinion so far is 5 stars ... show more

I liked the fact it was metal, however, the screws have fallen out and the spring that holds tue ball bearing up has already busted. I have only had it less than month. For $15 I thought it would last longer.

Fun fidget toy. Hard to use at first and has a bit of oil on it. Clean it off with rubbing alcohol. Toy will loosen up after a hand full of cycles. Just wished it would extend end to end and slid when in the cross position.

This slides and flips easily and is small enough to be in your pocket. I also like the clicking sound although it will probably drive people near me a bit nuts! But it's for me not them!
