Excellent fabric!! I'm buying another roll because it has been simply fantastic. I've been gardening for about 40 years now and this is a stellar product. I first put it down almost a year ago now and haven't had a single weed, no joke. Also it lets water pass through it very well, that was one thing I was worried about these kind of fabrics in the beginning. I also really like the green lines that they have stamped on the fabric, didn't exactly know I would, but it really helps when cutting the fabric. Cutting holes and planting through the fabric is great as well. Also when using stakes and nails, the fabric doesn't just start falling apart around the metal, it stays secure for sure. I haven't had to re-stake any part of the fabric since installing it. It also still looks as it did when I put it down, it doesn't look like it's deteriorating at all....that's after about nine months. FYI, I used 6" twisted stakes with the large plastic washers.

Super happy with this fabric. It is strong, durable, and long lasting. I use it in walkways as well as in planting areas to keep my weeding to a minimum. I have had other brands in the past that did not hold up like this. My flower farm would be a mess without it.

I bought this product last year for a raised bed project. It has a smooth side and a fuzzy side. Fuzzy side goes down. I do not cover this with mulch or anything. It lasted with no rips or tears even with foot traffic. The water does not pool on it. It allows water through it very well. I ordered two more roll for this year. The first roll was same as last years, the second had fuzzy side fine but the smooth side had a lot of fuzzy coming through so it was consistent with the other. Looks like a manufacture oops. I put it down anyway and it seems to be performing well. Just a different look. I have two layers down now and it still allows water through easily. No Weeds! Even without wood chips or cover of any kind. If not for double sided fuzzy, I would give it 5 stars.

This product worked perfectly for my garden this year. It was super easy to lay out and stake with my husband's help. I lined the edge with large sandstones to keep it flat and tight in the strong wind I get in this area. However, I'm not sure I even needed them. I ordered the stakes I used from Amazon at: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09N3154T7?ref_=ppx_hzod_title_dt_b_fed_asin_title_0_1&th=1 . We used a lighter to burn the holes where I would plant my seedlings. This worked great, and they didn't fray at all. At the end of the season, I lifted the fabric to dig root vegetables. I was pleased to find the ground perfectly clean underneath the fabric. It was easy to lay it back down and stake it again, and I'm leaving it there over the winter with the hope I can use the same fabric again after lifting and tilling my garden area. I have never enjoyed gardening because of the constant weeding, but this fabric eliminated that problem, and it was a joy to spend time in my garden. Water easily soaks into it and into the ground. I laid out soaker hoses, and that worked great with this fabric. The fabric is also nice to walk around on barefoot while gardening. The fabric was plenty thick, fit the exact size it claimed, and was one of the best purchases I made this year!

I have been putting down weed barriers in my large vegetable garden for well over a decade. I have ordered a variety of brands off of Amazon, but none of the others even come close to comparing with this one. It is obviously high quality and even feels cushy on my bare feet!

I recently did an overhaul/upgrade to my garden and added some new above ground planters. When I first installed the old planters years ago, I didn't put down any barrier cloth to reduce/prevent weeds from growing, taking up my plant nutrients and stealing their water and I was forever pulling up weeds from my garden. I regretted not putting down any barrier and vowed to not repeat the mistake. So when I installed my new planters, this was the first thing to hit the ground. It's pretty thick material and I got the 4'x50' roll, plenty enough for my needs with some left over. While I won't know how well this barrier works until sometime this summer, it certainly seems capable of preventing weeds from growing up and taking over my planters. I used shears to cut it to length and it was pretty easy to lay out (it was a bit windy that day and I just weighted the corners down with a couple of rocks, but a two person installation would help) and I have every hope that this will perform as intended.

Heavy Duty landscape fabric, for sure. You can tell this stuff will work based on feeling it - it's thick. The heaviest you might find in a hardware store is 4.1 oz and this comes in at 5 oz, so if that's what you need, it might be worth the value. But, you can get a roll of 6ft x 250ft for for far less elsewhere if you can deal with a littler smaller weight. We have serious weeds and roots so I figured it was worth the extra expense for some heavier fabric. It's held up over the season, so I can't complain. But I was sad to see that I probably could have gotten away with spending less because I can't imagine a 4.1oz option is that much worse. Consider your options and if this is definitely what you need...it is the best value I have found in that regard.
