  • Game changer- a must for anyone! Tips + Other innovations!
Size: 2 Piece Assortment
This product is life changing! Is it absolutely perfect? No Is it pretty darn close? Yes! This works fantastic to give you longer quality of life during a period not worrying about leakage, changing tampons etc. I love it for overnight if you are having a heavy flow day. It really helps me ‘forget’ it’s that time of the month, which lets be honest, is pretty tough to do, but this product definitely helps with that! You ‘can’ even use this for sex protection- however I’d be careful with it, and track your period so you know your pregnancy odds in case it moves around. I have used it before a few times for that, and partner said they might could feel it but wasn’t really sure, and it worked out alright. The only downside to the disc is that removal is almost always messy, ‘sitting’ is necessary, you just hook the cup with your finger to pull out, and it’s easiest to remove/insert in the shower for less mess if that bothers you too much. Have tissue ready to rinse and set the disc on when you remove, and make sure you don’t have rugs or carpet near removal for any drips in removal. (trust me on that) Sneezing, heavy coughing, and sitting in certain weird positions can cause leakage so be careful with that too. If the cup isn’t pushed all the way up, you might get some leakage - just adjust quickly in the bathroom if you have a big, giant body cough or sneeze! Don’t let that be a discouragement in buying this though, it’s *still* 100% worth it despite those small hiccups that can often happen with a tampon or pad anyway. These are great with Thinx period panties or other brands if you want 100% no mess protection. The future of period/sex protection is now! Some other cool related products I recently discovered that are life changing: •VCF Dissolving Vaginal Contraceptive Spermacide Film - it’s a contraceptive breath mint strip for down there sex protection! Lasts for 3 hours for sex protection. What?! How did I not know about these. Mind blown! •Washable Period Panties - multiple brands help with leak free protection to keep clothes clear from any leakage or stains. Amazon even has their own brand that isn’t bad. •And THIS menstrual disc! Lasting leak free protection for hassle free, less stressful periods! Hope that helps! I will never be without one of these discs, and it really saves money on buying tampons/pads! The quality of life extra time I get back during my time of the month is 100% worth it! ... show more

  • Great for first time users
Size: 2 Piece Assortment
Alright, first off is that every woman will be different. My experience was pretty good, but here are some tips for your first use: 1) wear a pad. I do not get perfect coverage, and unfortunately when I sneeze it releases a part of the floodgates. Get to know your body. For me, the disc is great because it catches 95% of the flow so that I don't have to wear a huge awkward pad all day and change it every 1-2 hours. It also helps when my period suddenly gets heavier because it just collects it all; if I were to have just a pad when my period decided to amp things up, it usually would lead to bleeding through my clothes. This has never happened with the disk. 2) on your first try, make sure you have time to enter and remove it and have patience learning to do so. I had to squat in my bathtub the first time to enter and remove, and did that a few more times before I got good enough to do it on the toilet. It is much like learning how to use a tampon, it takes practice and deep breathes. Try not to wear the disc on too crazy of a day in case you didn't properly tuck it behind your tailbone and the disc slides out midday. It has yet to happen to me but be aware while you get to know it. 3) I have yet to discover a mess free way of inserting or removing. Just expect to wash your hands well. 4) for anyone who may have missed it, you can empty the disk without removing it during the day. You act like you are pooping and this moves your muscles to tilt and empty the disk while staying inside of you. Of course, still remove the disk every 12 hours for hygeine purposes. 5) once you are used to it, it is pretty comfortable! I forget it is even there and even went to bed one night with it in. 24 hrs later no toxic shock but I was certainly flustered. I recommend a reminder of some kind. So there you go! I love the disk but it is not the perfect miracle I thought it would be. The different sizes in this pack are really nice tho for learning and flow purposes. ... show more

  • Maybe not a disc for beginners
Size: 2 Piece Assortment
When I decided to try a menstrual disc, I decided to get these relatively inexpensive ones because I wasn't sure if I would be able to successfully insert one. Well, turns out the true ordeal was removing the darn thing! I think this product would be fine for someone who is already proficient at using a disc and needs a replacement or backup--it did the job well, was comfortable to wear, and seems to be of good quality despite the low price. However, for a beginner (or someone with a high cervix and short fingers!) I would suggest to get a disc with a removal aid instead. ... show more

  • Reusable disk is way better than the reusable cups
Size: 2 Piece Assortment
This product is great. I used to buy the disposable disks and they were so expensive to do every month, having a reusable one is much more convenient and cost effective. Quality of the material is great, they are easy to remove (I have experience with removing them though, I don't know how to rate it for a beginner), super easy to clean and disinfect. I only like the smaller of the 2 cups. It says on the product packaging to use the large one if you have had babies or have heavier cycles. I have used the larger cups several times and I feel like it is too big for my body, and it is more prone to leaking because of it being oversized. So I prefer the smaller cup and just have to empty it more frequently during heavier spells(3 times per day). Normal flow only needs emptied about every 12 hours. Significantly reduced risk for TSS with products like these. Do yourself the favor, and order them! ... show more

  • Didn't work for me but I think it would for people with different anatomy
Size: Small (Pack of 2)
I'd used menstrual cups before and wanted to try discs. I tried this one and then the Cora cup (popular brand) and neither worked for me because my pubic bone (which the disc is supposed to tuck around) isn't pronounced enough, so it would slip out as soon as I stood up. I think for people who do have a normal public bone, though, this would work since this isn't that different from the Cora cup. The Cora cup is a bit firmer, but not by a ton. It's catch is also a bit thicker. The Cora cup is a tiny bit bigger but just by a millimeter or two. ... show more
