I so wanted to give this 5 stars but they are not blackout. In my pictures, I have a sun shield film on the window, blinds behind (one picture they are open, another closed), and a comparison with the same brand of curtain I bought at Target (the blue one). However, I did try out almost every pink blackout curtain online and these are actually the best quality by far. What I'm going to do is buy 2 more panels (so 4 panels total) and I think all of the pleats will keep out enough light to satisfy me. I have these in my living room. I did not want to dim the living room but wanted to make sure no one can see thru these. They allow the sun in but they do seem to help keep suns heat from coming in. They also are solid so people can't see shadows from outside. They look nice and are just what I needed in my living room. You need to press them though as they hold the fold lines and do wrinkle. Not sure how washable they will be the lining seems to be plasticy. Hopefully they can be washed since I hate dusty curtains. Anyway they are good curtains for the price and look nice. Wow I’m really surprised at the style and quality of these. Very cheap panel! But the color was exactly what I wanted which was nice. Usually when that cheap, it doesn’t match the pic but these did! Will order more! (The true test is the darkening vinyl part will often chip ( my ones from another cheap store did) so I will update on these but so far so good! ) I would recommend if you need an affordable room darkening curtain ... show more

Honestly, the white one isn’t very black out, but it’s beautiful fabric. A lot of the blackout curtains on Amazon are some ugly shiny fabric that looks really tacky. These don’t look that way at all. They look like linen curtains but they’re not as sheer. They’re beautiful.

I love these curtains I got for my mother for her room, mainly because she lives yellow. I got her a yellow blanket that is super soft, but the color of the blanket and the curtains match! They make her room very pretty and “calm”. The yellow curtains with three windows connected where she ties the middle ones in a bow during the day just looks absolutely gorgeous. My younger daughter loves to take her nap in my mothers room because when she closes the curtains and blinds, keeps the sun out for the most part, and is a great value.
