Item as described, came on time. Easy to assemble looks classy fancy, Martha and Paris would give it 2 thumbs up! It does block light, only time will tell if we feel a difference in temp inside. These are great. They are gray, not white, which I’m ok with but others may really not be. They also are not full blackout, they cut most of the light but not all. We’re pleased with them, and will probably buy more for our dining room. Photo is full sun, in the afternoon.

I purchased these on sale, I believe they were half price. The material was very thick and good quality. Unfortunately I did end up returning them, as they were too dark for my small room and made it look a little too much like a funeral parlor; I wasn't necessarily looking for blackout curtains. But they were gorgeous, and I would buy them again if I had a better place for them, or came in a lighter shade of blue. ... show more

Well, I’ve hung more curtains in my day than I can count, and these ECLIPSE Andover blackout curtains are… fine. Not great, not terrible—just fine. First off, the material is cheaper than a Sunday paper. Opening up I noticed they were damaged with a little snag right out of the package. Luckily, I ordered black, so I just took a Sharpie to the fabric and called it a day. (Modern problems require old-fashioned solutions!) Now, they do block the light, I’ll give ‘em that. At my age, a pitch-black room is the difference between sleeping and staring at the ceiling all night, so that’s a win. And for the price, I suppose I can’t complain too much. But if you want something that feels like it’ll last longer than a season, keep looking. These are more "temporary fix" than "forever curtains." Still, they’ll do in a pinch—just don’t expect quality at this price. Final Verdict: 3 stars—they work, but they’re not great. Material snags way to easily. ... show more
