I really wanted to love this shoe. I ordered them for an upcoming trip to Italy. I’ve read in several blogs that these shoes are super comfy to walk in. I have very think ankles and when I tried to fasten the shoe with the Velcro, the piece isn’t long enough to keep them snug enough around my ankle. So therefore my foot slips forward too much. I love Ecco sandals. I had a pair a few years back that I loved and carried me MANY miles! They say discontinued that sandals. I got these hoping they finally brought back something similar. These were great except the 38 ran much bigger than usual. I've worn 38 in Ecco and other brands consistently. I had to give these to my mom because they were too large. ECCO is a brand I've wanted to try. I'm a 10.5M. It's not always easy to find the correct fit, since most shoe companies do not make a 10.5. Very frustrating. ECCO's size is 10-10.5.
