Beautiful boot, a bit wide. What I don’t understand is the lack of the usual great supportive innersole Ecco is known for. These have a thin felt-like liner. I guess if you are willing to replace it you may be happy with these.

Great light weight lug sole boot. Gave 4 stars because the the inner sole of the boot surprisingly (for the price) lacked a structured arch support. I replace the removable insoles with a pair of my Protalus insoles and was good to go!

As a 'mature' woman who likes to look current, I was searching for an ankle boot with a lug sole that is not too exaggerated and clunky. This one is perfect, with the added bonus that it is not too heavy and the sole should provide good traction in slushy snow. I typically wear a size 9 and have a narrow-to-medium foot: the size 39 (8-8.5) fit perfectly. The shale color is a dark taupe/brownish-charcoal and is a good neutral that will work well with black, navy, and dark brown. I appreciate that it has a side zipper rather than a pull-on chelsea boot--so much easier to put on and take off.

The ball and the toe of the boot is too narrow and simply doesn't accommodate women's toes and feet. I wish shoe and boot companies would start making foot shaped shoes.

I walk...a lot, and took these boots on a mile long (and snowy) walk right out of the box. These handled the slick sidewalks like a champ. Since that first trip, I have done many multiple mile walks and wore them to a concert where I was standing for hours. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Side note. I wear orthotics, and they fit comfortably in my regular size boots without removing the factory inserts. Agree with other reviewers that the boots don't have a lot of support, but it's an easy fix.

These are the best boots I have seen. Feel great on and the style cannot be beat. Soul is just aggressive enough to have style but not so much that they will go out of style. I will be wearing these for a few years due to the cost but I believe that they are oh so worth it!
