Purchased the reptile / shiny black leather. Loved the appearance, but the leather is SO STIFF that it actually hurts my shins whenever I took a step. Walked up and down stairs and the stiff leather hit the back of my leg in the back of the knee. So disappointed. Beautiful, the heel 3 inches and is also covered suede. Comfortable to walk in. Go with Everything boot. My calf is 14.5inches and these fit perfectly. A larger calf may feel snug. Easy on and off zipper. Great value at $125
