This is probably my 6th pair of these. I've worn them for 20 years and after about a month to break them in they are super comfortable and are truly waterproof. Great boots, getting very expensive for a 20 year old design.

Comfort right out of the box! I use these boots for work and it's the best boot I ever bought. Other boots have a break in period where the boot may cause friction on the foot and may cause a blister or sore spot. NOT THESE BOOTS! It's comfort all the way! The boot may be pricey for some, but to me it's worth it.

I searched for a long time for a pair of Ecco shoes. When I found out Amazon listed them, I knew it was time to try them for myself at long last. This pair of boots is perfect for me. The size I picked matched my actual size just fine. Their comfort, stability and durability made a dramatic difference to my hiking experience. I have worn versions of the Ecco Track II "low" version for years and always enjoyed them. For "high tops", I was relying on an old pair of Mephisto boots until they finally gave out after ~20 years. Since I have been so pleased with my other Ecco products, I ordered these for an upcoming World Cruise where we expect to have more than a few excursions which might be safer with the additional ankle support that these offer. (My wife thought that the Track 25s were too clunky, so she ordered the "ECCO Women's Soft 7 TRED Gore-TEX High Sneaker" which she now loves. As indicated, the Track 25 High Hiking Boot fits exactly as expected. So far the materials are the same high quality I was expecting. Hope this helps!

I've owned many pairs of ECCO boots and shoes over the years. I've always found them to be comfortable, stylish, well made and worth the high price. I purchased these to replace a pair of aging 14844 boots. Initially, these boots felt great. Typical ECCO fit and comfort. After a week or so, however, the stitching on the right side of the right boot began to rub my foot. If you look at the close up photos of the outside side of the shoes you will notice a spot where there are 3 large stitches; these are the stitches I'm referring to. Sadly, I had to return the boots. If you have a high arch, pay attention to the stitching when trying on the boots. I ended up trying a pair of ECCO Rugged Track High Waterproof Boots since this design does not feature the same outside stitching. Although not as stylish or well made as the Track 25, the Rugged Track boots are quite comfortable. And as a bonus, they are much less expensive.

I purchased these boots and was very excited to get them after reading the reviews. I tried them on the first time and they felt really tight on the top of my foot where the tongue, boot and first shoe lace comes together. I thought they just needed to break in so I wore them for a few hours and had to take them off. I noticed a red mark on both of my feet when I took them off that hurt. I tried them three other times and the same thing happened. The last time I tried them I had to go on a business trip and wore them for two days. When I got back I had two bruises on the tops of my feet. I called the company and emailed the info and they said that they did not have a comfort warranty and the fit was not covered. I have had many, many pairs of shoes over the years and have never had a pair that has hurt my feet so bad. When I finally figured out that the company was not going to do anything I contacted Amazon and they allowed me to return the shoes but took over $50 for a restocking fee. This may be the first time I have every written a bad review but these boots may not be suitable for your foot if you have a high arch.
