So, got them because we all have different schedules and clank wakes people.. at first we did the handwash but for the last 2 years we been using the dishwasher. They are still great! One of the forks warped, just one. Still use it. The wood knife can cut!! Better than the ones from the metal set. The 2 sizes of spoons are great. The curvy one is just pleasing. Makes a person happier wth the soup or hot drink. I like the long ones better than the wood spoon I have for stirring the crock pot and sweetner in my tall drinking cup. So- not just the best wood set- The most functional and comfortable flatware set of my life. My grandmother's silver came close, but I still would have this then for quiet midnite snacks. Sturdy and durable. Just don't drop and step on them. Ceramic spoons break on the drop. Metal ones can hurt. So these are still the best. The only one I lost was stepped on. Hopefully they hold up. They seem cheap,very lightweight and larger than I was expecting. They do look nice though. The knives look like they would cut well if they also don't break.....on the brightside I bought extra if they do. :/
