I purchased an Ebonite Starry Night plastic bowling ball from the Bowler Store through the Amazon app in August of 2023. I was joining a league in the fall so I did not get it drilled for a couple of months. I finally started using it in September. After my 1st few throws I noticed visible scratches on the ball. I then continued to use it and a big chuck came off of it. I contacted Amazon and they wrote to the Bowler store in my behalf. They contacted me and said they needed pictures so the only ones I had was of the scratches. The alley kept my ball and gave me 5 bucks and a free game. They considered the matter closed. The Bowler store told me they would not start the warranty because all I had were minor scratches. Amazon started an A To Z guarantee but it was denied. I appealed after a friend at the alley sent me pics of the damage. Amazon upheld their decision. I am extremely dissatisfied with how I was treated. I basically lost 68 bucks because I waited too long to contact the company. From now on I will purchase my equipment from the bowling alley store. The Bowler store gets a zero for customer service and Amazon dropped the ball too. ... show more
