I rarely write reviews and I did not receive anything free or discounted for this review. I paid with my hard earned money for the batteries I'm reviewing and just wanted to share my experience and opinion to help others who may be new or unsure about purchasing rechargeable batteries from EBL. I specifically am writing this review after purchasing a purple case of batteries and adapters from EBL and have previously twice purchased EBL smart chargers with 8 batteries each as well as other EBL rechargeable battery sets throughout the years. I'm still currently using EBL rechargeable batteries that I purchased over 5 years ago, and have added more to my collection as needed. I've been using EBL's rechargeable batteries for a long time in addition to other more expensive brands. I mostly gravitate to the EBL's these days because they have a proven track record for me of being reliable, are offered at a terrific price point compared to other name brands, are easy to charge, offer plenty of power and last a long time on the things I use them in most like remotes, flashlights, lasers, nightlights, and other portable toys or light up devices. EBL rechargeable batteries save me a lot of money, not only at their purchase price, but especially over time, more than paying for themselves many times over throughout their multi-year life expectancy. I find it important to pay attention, when ordering, to make sure i choose the higher powered 1100ma AAA's and 2800ma AA's. I already own 2 of the EBL 8 AAA &/or AA smart chargers, each of which came with 4 each of both battery sizes (AAA & AA). I ordered this item, a purple EBL battery case with 8 1100ma AAA's, 8 2800ma AA's, 2 C adapters, and 2 D adapters (which are great for the rare occasions when I need batteries in the C or D size) because I found it to be a perfect mix of batteries & I liked the convenience of the storage case (so I don't end up misplacing batteries all over the place!). I find it best to have at least double the amount of batteries I need plus some extras on hand in case I get a new battery operated device. This allows me to always have enough fully charged batteries at any given time for all my needs, and it extends the longevity of my rechargeable batteries more than doubling their lifespan since they don't get as aggressively used to the point of overuse. I ordered the purple case, even though I would probably have preferred the black one, simply because it was less expensive by several dollars. It arrived one day behind schedule even though I have Amazon Prime and it was sold by Amazon. This is of course no fault of the manufacturer EBL & I am happy as I definitely understand that we are in a pandemic situation that has effected shipping logistics worldwide & my order did arrive early the next day, which is still pretty fast shipping! To conclude, I highly recommend EBL's rechargeable batterries, chargers and all their products. They consistently perform well, are relatively inexpensive, and will save money for anyone with battery operated devices, especially over time. I hope this review helps anyone who is trying to decide if EBL rechargeable batteries are a good option.

The box includes several batteries and sleeves that you can put the AA batteries in to make them a c-size battery. It's very nice and easy to keep the batteries organized. I have used several AA batteries in Christmas lights around the house. Battery life is good. For the price I recommend it.

The company has since reached out and sent me a replacement for the product line. This is a solid company to go out of their way to keep a customers business. I never contacted them just returned the item through Amazon. They reached out and replaced the product with batteries without the C and D shells. If they are replacing that whole product line then it's great. These batteries worked very well for rechargeable but so did the other ones. My previous review is still posted below for those who are interested. The D and C batteries where just empty shells to install one of the A batteries. While all A - D batteries are just 1.7v to 1.2v depending on if they are Li-Ion or old NiCd rechargeable batteries there is a big difference in Ampherage/Amps aka current. are much different. These are going to destroy your devices. Some modern electronics can account for the difference but a lot may not especially considering how cheaply most are made now. Buyer beware. They did however allow me to return the product but thats why I try to buy mostly from Prime.

Very good value kit with a small charger and all the batteries most people will need. I like how the charger works off of both micro-USB and USB-C cables, so no need to have anything extra. It even included a small cable that works well. The plastic frame inside the case is a bit flimsy, but it's really only there to organize the batteries. The batteries charged up quickly and held a good charge. It's convenient that the charger seems smart enough to recognize improper batteries, and the lights let you know when the correct batteries are done.
